Disrespectful
I called and scheduled a full tune-up and fluid flush for my vehicle that I use for my job. I was given the option of a Thursday or Friday, I said Friday. I confirm Friday the 20th.
I show up Friday, 10 minutes early my appointment, and the receptionist/scheduler told me I missed my Thursday appointment.
So now I'm out a day of work. After admitting a mistake was made, she then had the unmitigated gall to say the fault was with BOTH of us.
Does Friday sound like Thursday? Am I supposed to call and remind a company of my appointment? Should I manage the customer desk the week of my appointment? I'm not looking for freebies, but you can't even give a sincere apology for screwing up?
Disrespectful.
The only fault I have is trying to give these people my business. This woman is the interface between customer and company; she is their public representation. I've learned that what you see, tends to be what you get.
If that behavior is acceptable up front, what else goes on in the back with the customer's vehicles?
