If I could give no stars, I would. This company was sent out by my home warranty to diagnose a water leak that was coming from inside my AC unit. The appointment was made in a timely manner, and my initial impression was that the service man was knowledgeable and very friendly. After inspecting my unit, he discovered the leak seemed to be coming from the coil. I was told about how it would be a long process to change the coil if needed, and the service guy checked my warranty to see if it would be covered. It appeared as though it would be, so he took lots of pictures and said he would send his report along with pictures to the home warranty company. He also stated that the next step would be to wait to hear something back from my home warranty. The next business day I looked at the service call online and noticed that it said complete. I knew this was a mistake, so I contacted the home warranty. They contacted Action Mechanical Services, Inc while I was on the other line. Action Mechanical Services stated that they found no mechanical problems with my unit other than rust. I told the warranty company exactly what the service guy, Dustin, had said to me about his findings. The home warranty contacted the company to send in their report and pictures. After waiting a week, there was no update on my service call online. I contacted the home warranty company once again to be told that Action Mechanical Services was to have come back out to my house to follow up on the service call. Since they hadn't made any contact with me, the warranty company contacted Action Mechanical while I was on the other line. Basically Action Mechanical didn't have any pictures to send into the warranty people, they were done with my service call, they saw no water coming from my AC unit (only rust on back of unit), and that I was only out to get my whole unit replaced. Wow!!!! Really!!! I could not believe what I was being told. My intentions for my service call was to stop the water from leaking from my AC unit. If replacement of the coil should be done, then that is what I expect. After getting off the phone, I contacted Action Mechanical Services in hopes that maybe there was some kind of miscommunication between the service guy and the home warranty. I had the pleasure of speaking to John on the phone, and he said that he reviewed the services guy's findings. He stated that the service guy said there was no water leaking from my unit. I told him that was BS and that his service guy, Dustin, had taken pictures of everything. Due to the fact that I was a women, he felt the need to tell me that I was lying about my water leak from my AC unit and that I was being very unprofessional by telling him that what he was saying was BS and threatened to hang up on my. In the end, I ended up hanging up with him. I may be a women, but I am a paying customer whether it be through home warranty or not. In our home, all service calls are done by me. When I no longer have a home warranty, Action Mechanical Services will not be on list to call. To any one thinking of using Action Mechanical Services, let this be a warning that they are a scam company that makes their money from home warranty companies sending them customers. All the concern for your AC and picture taking is for show, they have no intention of actually repairing any problem that you may have.

HORRIBLE customer service
In my dealings with this company, I have to agree with every review on this site and on the BBB site re: the rudeness of the owners, their problem speaking/dealing with educated females, and their refusal to accept responsibility for anything negative. They constantly "hide behind" the home warranty's policies to them, most of which the customers have no control. Case in point: they recommended to home warranty that our claim was not mechanical and should not be repaired on their dime; their recommendation for HVAC issues was to simply close the registers so more air would flow to other rooms. HORRIBLE!!

Rude and unprofessional
Don’t expect these guys to be on time or polite. They no showed for 1 appointment and then showed up a half hour after their 4 hour window appointment was over the next day. They disrespected me and my wife and the owner is the worst. He provides no assistance or customer service. Make sure you have cash on hand cause that’s all they take for payment apparently......

We were having an issue with our water heater at about 1:30 am. My only option given to me was to take an appointment for monday, which is 6 days from now. My kids and I could not wait that long so I attempted to call to get an earlier appointment. Came in contact with John, who immediately tried to make me feel bad for asking for an earlier appointment. I knew that he was gaslighting me and I called him out on it. He continued to be very mean to me. Needless to say, he has problems with women, especially educated women. I told him to never contact me in any way from this point on. He continued by texting me again to make me feel bad about this confrontation by saying it was a misunderstanding. Never in my life have I had to deal with someone this snotty, disrespectful and unproffessional. In the end, I was able to get someone else to help me and my family. I was happy to pay the extra money just to get the experienced and nice assistance I deserved as a customer and human being with this water heater problem. If I could, I would have selected a zero star rating. Be cautious, he uses your own words against you because he refuses to take responsibility for anything.

We had a hot water heater out. With a pregnant wife and 3yr old at home, I had hoped to get the issue addressed as soon as possible. I was told that the soonest someone could make it out was 36 hours later, unless I paid an additional $115/hr. Then I was told that, if it wasn't an easy fix, the issue probably wouldn't be resolved for 4-5 days. I can appreciate that a plumbing company can be very busy this time of year. What I don't appreciate is the snide, and almost arrogant, tone John took with every question I presented. Needless to say, their level of customer service and professionalism is poor at best.
