Pessimistic experience
Pessimistic experience in this clinic. It is beautiful and with a lot of resources so that you feel good but the medical practices leave much to be desired. They extracted a tooth from my 7-year-old boy and for this they used three different anesthetics (1 gave him a vevida that told me he would not feel any pain, 2 local anesthesia with pinchasos, 3 gas mask) which did not work as they should or did not apply them correctly because my son cried and had a lot of pain in the process. (My son has a lot of problems in his mouth and it is not the first time he has a foot removed.) In addition, in the process the doctor was interrupted several times since other patients were waiting for him, which left the dedication and consentration I should have. When finished my son cried and was not stunned or numb. All the way to the house my son complained of pain and when he got home, the pain worsened. Already in the house the child if he started to be stunned and could not talk was DRUGED !!! but still he kept complaining of pain. I called the clinic and the principal of the doctors told me that the child was in pain because the medication they had given him increased the sensitivity in that area ... what ???? Go crazy before such absurdity. Then he called me personally the doctor and tried to calm me down with meaningless arguments .. until he even told me that one of the effects of that medication would be that the child would not remember what happened in the future ... what ???? more crazy! After the hours my son returned to be incorporated but the pain remained precent although this time is controlled by the analgesics that we gave him at home. It really was a very unpleasant experience.

Wonderful Experience!
We took our children here for the first time today. Dental visits are always a little dreadful for us because our son, who has Autism, gets a ton of anxiety and usually hates going. This visit was way different! We walked in to a gorgeous and clean office and a very friendly receptionist. She greeted us and the kids right away and made us feel welcomed. We did all of our paperwork at home (printed from their website) ahead of time and gave it to her. Our check-in process took less than five minutes because of that. They have a great waiting space for the adults and children. We were called back within five minutes. They took us back to a more private area (we are guessing that was due to us telling them our son has had issues in the past) for the x-rays and cleaning. Two different assistants worked on the children at the same time and they were both awesome. Both of the kids felt comfortable and it went very smoothly. Our son likes to see each tool that goes into his mouth and wants to know what it is used for, etc...they did a great job answering his questions and making sure he was calm. Dr. Ellsworth then came in and reviewed the x-rays and their teeth and then spoke with us in detail about the plan and options for our son who needs more dental work. When we were finished, the assistant gave us their bags (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, etc) and led us over to the prize wheel that the kids each got to spin for a toy. They were very excited! The young woman who checked us out was extremely kind, thorough and helpful as well. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out (less than an hour for two appointments), we all appreciated and enjoyed the full experience. We are so happy with today's visit and would highly recommend this place!

A blessing to find this dentist
My son was previously seeing another dentist and I just couldn't handle them anymore they were terrible. The first time I called to make an appointment Tammy was so kind and helpful, she explained everything and addressed all my concerns. My son ended up having to get one of his teeth pulled (due to the last dentist). Geralyn the back office lady was seriously AWESOME!!!! She is the most genuinely kind person to be with kids. She made the experience not only great for my son but also great for a parent. Dr. Kinney was also really good. Gentle and very quick with the procedure. We will be with this dentist as long as my son is a minor and he is only two!!

Horrible
I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I called to see when the soon appointment was since my daughter was in pain and her regular dentist could not help her and referred us to Anthem. I spoke with Tammy, informed her my daughter was in pain, referred by another dentist and when could I get an appointment? Tammy said that they may not be able to relieve her pain on the same day as her appointment. Which I totally understand. Tammy said she was just being "honest" and I asked is there any way we can see if we can resolve it the same day since she was in so much pain? Tammy said she could try, but cannot guarantee anything. Again, I understand there are no guarantees. So I ask when can I make an appointment? Tammy said she cannot get my daughter in until Monday afternoon. (Mind you, I called on Thursday). I ended up just hanging up because she was not even considerate. She should have said, I am sorry, but your daughter won't be able to been seen for a few days and I understand she is in pain. That is what MOST professional would do. So I ended up going somewhere that was professional and concerned with my daughter's needs.
