Call Tony!!!
I highly recommend Bair Mechanical. Tony was wonderful! They installed a new furnace for us. The work was done fast and better than we could have imagined. Tony and his crew went way above and beyond!! My entire house is warm for the first time since we moved in and my basement is no longer creepy. I cannot say enough good things about them

The House Doctor
I've read all the reviews here and our experience was exactly the same. 100%! We came home from a weekend away to find a basement floor saturated with water. Tony Bair came the next morning and repaired the pipe correctly and to code. We also had him install a broken toilet. Every step of the way, he asked questions and gave explanations. He knows a lot about energy efficiency. The experience of cleaning up and throwing out as a result of the leak was not fun. But, the bright side is we found an exceptional guy who knows and services home mechanicals. He also had an assistant who is very pleasant and they work very well together. Reasonsble rates. Responsible. Honest. Thank you, Dr. Bair.

Reputable, Honest, and Reasonable
Every time Tony has been at our house to do work he has done a great job but there are actually a few I would like to share with you so that you too can understand what and outstanding job he does. We had Tony out to run new gas lines through our basement to our Tank-less On Demand Water Heater that my husband and father in law installed that wasn't working properly because we weren't getting enough gas supply to it. Tony not only ran the new pipe, but also calibrated our hot water heater and shower. He took the time throughout the process to graciously and patiently answer my curious 3-year old's questions like "what are you doing", and "why", and "but why". He took the time to explain everything he had done, he went over the setting on the tank, then proceeded to explain water temperatures and the settings they should be set at so that I wouldn't have any chances for burns with my 2 young children. He cautioned me on which temperatures lead to each category degree burns. He went way above and beyond. Most would have left after the pipe was in. A most recent situation, I was home working and I found water in our basement that was leaking into our furnace. I immediately called Tony because my husband is an over the road trucker and is gone M-F so I'm usually the one that has to figure this stuff out. Tony was on an emergency job but still took the time to troubleshoot with me over the phone. Between our conversatin over the phone and some photos I sent to him, he helped me determine that it wasn't one of the pipes, it was actually the seal around the chimney stack that had cracked and was letting water down around it. So I called out a roofing company that came the next morning and resealed the chimney. Tony came out later that day and tested and serviced our furnace to make sure there was no damage from the water that got in it. We bought our house as a fixer upper and after about 5 years of work, we decided that it was time to pass it off to have others do the work. It's very hard to find contractors that are reputable, honest, and reasonable. The last time Tony was here I expressed to him that I wished he wasn't limited to plumbing, heating, and AC because I'd prefer to be able to call him when anything went wrong on this house! I have referred Tony to several of my friends and will continue to do so.

More than we expected
Our church boiler piping was rusted and ready to blow out. We got a quote from our usual contractor, who proposed replacing in kind. Bair Mechanical looked closely, thought carefully and was able to recondition valves and reconfigure piping to complete the work for half the cost. They also explained maintenance needs, color coded equipment for maintenance, traced wiring and found two 'missing' shut off valves for domestic water obscured in the basement. We didn't pay extra for any of that; it was Bair's idea of excellent customer service. I agree, service was outstanding, and plan to hire them for all future needs.
