Mixed whether to recommend or not.
BathFitters transformed our combination shower/garden tub into a full shower. I love the fact it is so large now. I have also found the shower is easier to clean and keep cleaned than my previous shower/tub. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the workmanship and when I reached out to our salesperson (Art) he never got back to me ever again. It was as if he received his sales credit and didn't care about the outcome or care to hear what I had to say. I believe the workmanship could have been better if there would have been 2 people there to do the install because it was quite large. Too large for one person. At one point I had to assist the installer carrying in the wall. Due to only one person handling such large pieces the installer nicked our wall and took off some paint, nicked the door frame in the bathroom and dented the door frame on the door to the garage. All is now completed and the shower is to my satisfaction (after 3 trips) and I have still not heard from our salesperson. While I love my new big shower I do not believe it was worth the price tag. I also had to do a lot of cleanup I felt they should have done.

Worst business experience ever.
Overall experience was awful. The salesperson didn't find that I had some water damage & I didn't know until my installers started the project. So then I had to pay $500 more for a tub that doesn't even match the walls I was contracted to have. (Any normal business would take the loss or better yet: offer a discount). The installer(s) were professional but negative 100 stars for business integrity, honesty & overall customer service. The bath spout was lost & I was promised an installer to install it the next morning & of course no installer. Called about it & was treated like I was inconveniencing them about what they already knew. What was supposed to be a 1 day BathFitter actually turned into a 2 week combination of a migraine, disappointment & huge regret. I was promised a bath I would love & I'm stuck with a mismatched waste of time & money.

I love love my new shower stall , I have much more room to move around without a tub. Phil was awesome , friendly, hard worker, got the job done in one day, I was impressed. He also did not leave a speck laying around , cleaned up everything. I would definitely tell my friends and neighbors about bathfitters. Thank you for my new bathroom.

sale rep ------SUCKED he has bad attitude , and challenged when I told I have someone may do cheaper for me to redone my bathtub . He may has a bad day , but he is not professionally as sale person is trying to get me buy his product He is suck - bad experience .............

Okay, I did not have a complete bath renovation. All I needed was a new shower wall and fixtures and this was in the guest bathroom. After the installation I was pleased and it looked very nice. Approximately 3 weeks after the installation I actually needed to use the bathtub and there was no water and I also noticed the faucet was not tight to the wall. Bath Fitter did send someone out promptly to fix the problem. The problem was the water was not turned back on after installation but he also noticed that it had not been sealed properly inside. He did seal whatever was wrong and turned the water back on. He also stated that I will probably need to replace the faucet because with shower pressure it will probably pop off. Your CSR wanted the tech to come out and install a new faucet but said it probably would not match the rest of the hardware. I stated I don't want something that does not match. I paid a lot of money for this to look good! So, she said it would be temporary and they would put a matching one on when and if they have one. I let her know they should get one that matches first and put it on at that time, one trip for everyone. This is the guest bath and I don't have to use that shower. For whatever reason this didn't make a lot of sense to her but I explained that I just want them to make one more trip, not two. She did check to see if there is a matching faucet and there is not, they will have to order one from the manufacturer and then we will set up a time for this to be installed and hopefully this will all end well and my new shower will work properly. So far I don't have a functioning guest shower and I was kind of leary about this review, however, I am optimistic that Bath Fitters will make this right.
