Horrible outcome sold a bill of goods and lies!
Was originally informed by Tina when contacted about an aggressive pit bull and wanting to socialize with our dog so my fiancé and myself could move in together. We paid $1.035.00 up front and was told, " we are experts in aggressive pit bulls and can help you". When we came in we spoke to Frank and was told the same thing and also "you have us for life" over and over again. We went through 5 weeks of socialization training and the pitty did good in a "controlled environment" Frank and Tina were both advised that we need special help in the home environment that any knowledgeable dog owner will know is a totally different ball game. We had one home visit and it was too hot outside to really get anything done so another was scheduled for last Saturday and the owner Steve showed up also. We went in the yard with the dogs and saw a little aggression but were then told it is all on us to control the dog in the home, we went for a walk and my dog pooped on the neighbors lawn and I wanted to clean it up and Steve said " don't worry I will clean it up before we leave" It never happened, I cleaned it up. They never came in the house to see how it would work in the house and they left after about 30 minutes of actual one on one training with the two dogs together after being told about 10 times "you have us for life". We then started walking the dogs together and one block from the house a neighbors dog was barking at the fence and we tried to stop the pitty from pulling on the leash that was provided by Beaches for Dogs and The Leash Snapped in Half! Then we had two pit bulls on either side of the fence running up and down the fence line and we had no control over a dog that we spent $1.035.00 one with a so called guarantee. I then frantically called them back because it had only been 10 minutes since they left and was told by the owner Steve, "I cant come back I have a 1 PM appointment.! I was told no refund because of the contract I had signed but never received a copy of a contract! They are fully aware of the situation and were made fully aware of it when they took our money! So lesson learned... Do not believe a word they say, if you have a dog that need special training, this is not the place for your loved fur baby. They are dishonest and do not really care about a dog and it's owner! If they did they would have turned around immediately to address this horrible situation. Buyer beware, they still have not called us back to try to help with the situation except to tell us that we will not be getting any of our money back, and still have no copy of so called contract!
Response from Beach For Dogs
We are really sorry that you feel this way but there are two sides to every story. We worked with your dog aggressive Pit bull for 4 weeks and we put a lot of time and effort into her training. We also spoke to your fiancé for about an hour every time he dropped the dog off. She was great, under control and very obedient with all of us. She would follow us around the shop, sit with us and greet other dogs. We have pictures and videos of your Pit bull getting along with all types of dogs in our facility. We had you bring in the dog who will be moving into the same house as your Pit bull twice and we worked with them together after hours. Your Pit bull never showed any aggression towards the other dog what so ever. We also came to your house and worked with the two dogs together and again no sign of aggression what so ever. We came out to your house a second time and worked with both dogs and again your Pit bull was great and showed no aggression. You should never walk your dog on a leash that she chewed through, how is that our fault? We showed you how to have control over her and it was up to you guys to listen. We have been working closely with you both, coaching you along the way despite having to listen to racial slurs and offensive conversation topics. Ten minutes after leaving we received a very rude call demanding that we come back and we explained that we had another appointment to get to. We most definitely would have continued to work with you and your dogs but that night you sent a nasty email to us calling us names and demanding your money back. You are right, we will not respond to that. Your actions in that email has now severed the ties of our "you have us for life guarantee." We will not accept the demands, vulgar language, offensive name calling and threats route that you decided to take. We have even contacted the Naperville Police Department. We loved and put a lot of time into your dog and we are disappointed that you chose to turn on us. Best of luck.

Blu the puppy husky!!
Thank you Steve and Zach. The are awesome!! Having never had a husky was not quite ready for her engery or her stubbornness. Steve has taken her in the last 2 weeks to a very manageable puppy. Blu will be 4 months old next week and she is doing great!!!! Blu loves to go to training and doggy day care. She is a very happy puppy. We had a death in the family and with a ew puppy had no place to take her since the funeral was out of state. Steve took her in and watched her for us and I had one less thing to worry about. I have meet Steve's while family. I can honestly say they have the dog and the family best interest at heart. I would take my puppy no where else. They are the best of the best!!!thanks Steve, Zach and everyone else at the beach. Also they are working with Blu and my 10 year old and it is amazing how far we have come. Thanks again

From the very first time we visited Beach for Dogs, we felt extremely confident in leaving our puppies in their care. Both of our dogs were eager to go each day and welcomed Tina with wagging tails. Sadie and Kodi quickly learned the basics in training. The trainers welcomed our questions and pointed out simple steps and missteps on our part that would make our dogs' training more effective. We would highly recommend Beach for Dogs as we found them to be professional and caring. We can't thank Tina, Zach, and Steve enough for making our time with our dogs more enjoyable.

Kai is a happy Beach Boy!
I only wished we found Beach for Dogs sooner. I knew I needed help with our large German Shepherd Kai and the morning I first walked in with him, Steve and Tina immediately assessed what he needed. From that morning on, I am happy to say I watched Kai evolve into a more confident companion that we enjoy and feel safe bringing with us as he experiences new people and environments. Kai trained off leash and I think we look forward to the weekends as much as he does when we take him out hiking and exploring off leash. Kai's confidence around other dogs has also increased. Before he did not have much exposure to playing with other dogs. At the Beach he is able to play in a safe controlled environment and just have fun being a big goofy dog. We continue to bring Kai for daycare because it stimulates his mind, he has fun and its reinforces our preferred family "pack" dynamic. He is a happy dog as we drive up to the beach, and he falls asleep in the back of the car on the way home after his very active day. Beach for Dogs is very clean & modern. Your dog is not in a cage, there are plenty of windows so you can see everything that is going on. You know what people love about going to the beach is being able to chill - there definitely is a "chill vibe" here for your dog as well. The dogs each have their own cot and it an amazing thing to see them all relaxing in them - even their shared nap time! There is a very positive energy thanks to the dedication of Tina, Zack and Steve.

The Harvard of Schools for dogs
My little Yorkie just loves this place and so do I. The place is impeccably clean, the manager Tina is plain and simple awesome (the best of the best), and I feel my dog is able to maintain his learned skills. I love the fact that they don't lock my little one in a cage. I highly recommend this place. I guarantee you and your dog will love this place. The owners are also super nice and they listen to your concerns very closely. If you want a clean environment, safe with knowledgeable people this is the place you need for your peace of mind.

BEACH FOR DOGS - You're The Best!!!!
Our dog Hunter needed some playtime with other dogs and we've been looking for a good place to take him. We also needed a place where we could board him when we go on vacation. I heard about this new place and was interested in a visit to see what it was all about. We took our Hunter there and he met some of the great staff members. Right from the start they were friendly and knowledgeable. We, and Hunter, felt very comfortable with everyone there. We signed up that day for 30 days of daycare to see how Hunter would do around so many dogs. Needless to say, Hunter is so happy to "go to the beach" a few times a week. I think he even has a new girlfriend there! He comes home all tuckered out, happy and content. We even get periodic pictures of him playing during the day. We adopted our Hunter almost 5 years ago and he is our pride and joy and want the best for him. We found the best place for him to go have fun - BEACH FOR DOGS! They are a great service to our community and I highly recommend them for your daycare needs and they also do boarding, grooming, and are great at dog training! They're amazing!!!!!!
