Premium Service
My wife transmission went out, I decided to use google and search for transmission. Moreover I found one way out Spring TX decided to give them a call to get an estimate. David picked up the phone call owner of the business gave the run down to trust him inform me will tow my car for FREE and its to good to be true going to check the car for FREE and remove transmission tell what is broken. Scott not sure who he is seems to be "captain of the ship" as he claims, but towing company works with Brothers Transmission inform he is a "BIG ASSHOLE" people come in and out get chewed up by Scott when come paying bills. I found how quick when Scott got done with me chewed me up and spit me out treated like trash. David gave me his "WORD" will tow my car for free and remove transmission for FREE and if do not like his prices, I can walk out with no bill and keep his word. I decided to trust David because was consistent with his "WORD" deal was made verbally. Towing company picked up my wife Nissan X Terra good new arrived Brothers Transmission had to call make sure it made the trip. Scott picked up phone call "Captain of The Ship" inform they will look at my car when my turn reaches couple days pass get a phone call from Scott and gave me premium prices $3,200 rebuilt transmission well did not want to spend this much. In Houston TX there other transmission shop flat fee of $1,500 which was going to spend on. But David catch my attention with saving money replace what I need only could save money, I thought in my head could save money and not have to spend $1,500 my situation is about turn quickly. I talk to my wife to fix transmission decided to take car out and leave somewhere else. Scott scam me by recording my voice giving him permission remove transmission $650 and was confused because David told me something else FREE and keep his "WORD." Well none of these claims are true from David, I tried to talk with owner nowhere to be found Scott "Captain of The Ship" takes over. I inform Scott about my verbal agreement with David it quickly escalated Scott got mad at me because, I challenged their claims in website good honest people for 20 years of experience therefor honor original deal made by David. Captain of The Ship got made at me decided not fix my car and pay the fee of $650 and get of his business. Moreover got mad even more on his on will and decided to remove towing fee and take your car out for $400 looks like was charge a towing fee. Do not believe David owner or Scott "Captain of The Ship" there lying, I decided to challenge them more called again days later hit jackpot David picked up told me going to help me and get me up to speed soon he can catch up because to busy opening another shop seems will be to busy. Nothing got fixed with David because its not Burger King "have it your way" this point low for someone to use on a person being good people as they claim in there web and Scott decided to go protocol on me charge my $650 and if I do not pay because I keep on pissing him off has the power to quickly change prices from $650 - $850 to get my car out now at this point. This is call pressure and quick way to get me out of his way some how found David again and inform him to get my car out $400 seems fair since life is not free and pay them looking at my car and not knowing what need to be fixed. David did not like ways things were going and took off and "Captain of The Ship" took over and decided to make this hostage situation and pressure me to pay $650 or prices will go up $850, so I paid this scam and got my car out with deal leave transmission diagnoses in car for me to have which should be fair none ever made it back to know what is wrong with my transmission. Got my car out quick by the same towing company claims Scott is and "BIG ASSHOLE" hire them to tow my car out of there Transmission shop. I look up there reviews should have took there review serious thought Brent K and John C were load of liars just had bad experience in there premium prices. I was wrong there correct tried to keep it short this review, I would like for everyone to click on my link provided we are 2017 recording technology has become an easy tool to use with our smartphone devices, I have proof how crazy people can scam and lie about there honesty in there business. Patriot Pride or Brothers Transmission?
I tried Angies list for first time since I heard such good things. I picked Patriot Pride frm Angies List. Angies reviews on them seem ok but I searched Googles reviews of other shops in the area, I happen to read on Brothers transmission which had some mixed reviews. Anyway, they offered free tow and free estimate also 400 or 500 off labor and 20% off parts or something close to that but dont quote me on that. Well it sounds like a win so I called them to have my 2006 car looked at. They came right away and towed to there shop, I went into office to sign paperwork and when I got into my wifes car to leave their shop, I happen to see another sign stating, "powered by Brothers Transmission". I thought it strange when I saw that but the process was in motion and willing to give them a try. After 5 or 6 days, I got a call telling me it was $3012. They told me the whole transmission needs to be replaced. I told them it really sounded too much for a car thats 11 years old so I told them I would need to discuss with my wife bc it was a lot of money? I talked w my wife and I called them back to tell them I will not get it fixed. They called me few days later, offered $2400.00 which was πŸ‘Œ. I had to think it over and during that time I did some more searching online and from the limited reviews 3 were disturbing and rest were πŸ‘Œ but I had a really bad experience at a mechanic shop in past where they charged me $1500 for cracked engine head but broke down a week later (took to ford charged $3000 but never had that problem again) so I just decided not to get it fixed. My wife wanted a new car so I would use her car and she will get a brand new one. Anyway, I work out of town so I told them it might be a week or 2 before coming back to Houston. When I got to the shop they did not have the transmission back into my van? I guess they wanted to persuade me or reason why? Another week passed by and my car was ready for pickup. The owner texted me the towing phone number which I had my employee call to setup appropriate time for us to have it delivered. Well the car didnt come? The next day owner called me while I was working out of town telling me that I needed to get car right now or there might be storage fees involved. I was a little 😑 for giving me a 10 minute decision. I had them tow it and the towtruck driver wanted $150 but the owner told me $95 😠. Towtruck driver collected $95. Result of experience: 1) since i elected not to fix, I cant say about their quality of work 2) 3 reviews πŸ‘Ž, 1 person stated taking car back 4 times for same issue, 1 lady stated price went above initial cost, another person called the shopowner a conartist which was most disturbing to me 3) its ok for shop to take their time but when I elected not to have it fixed, they also should have my car put back together on time 4) made appt. to have car towed never showed up or they stated noone knew about message then the following day giving ultimatum from a call that i will be charged storage fee if not corrected right now. 5)never told me that i would be responsible for diagnostic or towing if I dont get it fixed 6) Angies List "horseΓ—Γ—Γ—Γ—" On a scale of 1to 10 w 10 highest , I give them 2 mind you I cant comment autowork since I elected not to do. The overall experience was really a headache. Would I use them or give referrals, πŸ‘Ž

I will never go there again! Big mistake.
Had vehicle towed to there location, for them to look at. The gave a estimate that was over twice what I was given by another transmission shop. When I got to there shop they had the transmission on the table in pieces (without my authorization) . When I told them, They were double the going rate and I was taking it to another shop. They said that it was "illegal" for them to let me take the vehicle with the transmission in a box, They also informed me that $400.00 cash was required before they would release the vehicle even though there web site says cards are accepted. After I called the Police, they agreed to let me take the vehicle and the transmission, in pieces in a box. But they still required the $400.00 Cash. 1 star is the lowest rating you can give on this web site, otherwise Zero.

Quality service excellent work
Father in law recommended this company after speaking to Scott, because he "felt good" about Brothers and the work they would do. He is a very skeptical person and hard for him to trust anybody for some things especially when it cost. I called and spoke with Scott and he was honest and upfront with what he was able to do and possible cost. He gave me a fair price and options on making payments. Take their work serious and seek to take care of the customer. My truck is running beautifully. Thanks Brothers.

An Honest Shop - Nice Folks - Good Value
My old Chevy's transmission finally decided to throw in the towel after a mere 17 years and 287K miles. With an older truck like this, I didn't want to spend more than she's worth to get her fixed. Mr. Scott took my call on a Saturday, even though they were closed, and explained how they would do a thorough computer scan and test drive evaluation for free, and then let me know what it would take to get her fixed. I figured I'd probably get a long laundry list of "recommended repairs" in addition to repairing my transmission. That didn't happen. Within a day he gave me the details of the transmission work that was needed, without pushing me toward any other additional repairs. (I was also glad that they automatically replace the engine's rear main seal after they drop the transmission. It's an inexpensive seal that would cost you hundreds to replace if the transmission wasn't already dropped.) IMPORTANT! They provided pricing for a "re-manufactured" transmission, not a "re-built" transmission. There is a difference. Google it, so that you are informed. In a nutshell, re-manufactured is more stringent (higher quality) than re-built. I greatly appreciate that they were also able to complete the transmission repair within my budget. Three days after dropping it off, I have my truck back and she's running and shifting like a champ. If that changes I'll be sure to post it. Thanks to Mr. Dave and Mr. Scott and especially the guys in the shop for getting me back on the road.

Superior Quality Service with Super Competitive Rates! Highly Recommend! A+++++
Bought a used Honda Accord that had some serious transmission problems. After many frustrations with visiting and consulting with several other repair shops, by God's grace, I ended up calling Scott at Brothers/Patriot Pride Transmissions & Auto Repair. From the start, I was impressed by Scott's candor and technical knowledge in addition to his kind offer for a free diagnostic on my vehicle. After the diagnostic, I was also extremely impressed and grateful for their quote for repair which turned out to be the lowest rate in town and also included a lifetime warranty on the new transmission they installed. Ever since the repair, my Accord has been running like new.

Really pleased
My transmission on my 66 mustang went out and I talked to them about my problem. They came and towed my car for free they fixed the problem and did it at a great price. I have a hard time finding good honest service, I've been to several places that just see dollar signs when they see a classic car. They treated me well and didn't charge me a fortune. Nice guys to boot, I couldn't be happier.

Professional and high quality service
I brought in my 2008 F-150 assuming it had a transmission issue. They were honest and up-front about the truck only needing a tune-up and not expensive transmission work and were able to fix the issue by the next day. My experience with Brothers Transmissions & Auto Repairs was very positive and I will definitely use them in the future.
Response from Brothers Transmissions & Auto Repair

David at Brothers Transmission really saved me.
I had many shops tell me that i needed a complete rebuild on my 2011 F150. I have been without work for some time now and i just couldn't afford 2900.00 to have my truck repaired and had no other source of transportation. I barely was able to get it to the shop. David had the guys do a complete diagnostics on my truck and determined that the transmission was not the problem, but i had two coils bad on my motor and that's why my truck wouldn't go over 25 mph. David had the two coils replaced and they cleared all my codes and my truck was running normal again. The other shops probably would have charged me the 2900.00 and fixed my two coils, that cost me 287.23 total with labor. I was shocked. Anyway that's why I say David truly saved me. Now i am able to make some money to provide for my family. Thank you David and Brothers Transmission.

Fixed my transmission
Have a 66 mustang that needed transmission work. They said they could do it in a few days. It took a little longer because they had to order a new torque converter. I had told them it was no hurry the whole time anyway. I had asked them about replacing my rear brake cylinders earlier. When the car was ready they called and said they did the brake cylinders for free because of the wait. Cool, thanks.
