Wonderful dentist and staff
I've been going to this practice for over 8 years, and usually just have to do routine cleanings. However, now I'm having a problem with a tooth, and I have to say how happy I am with their immediate response to my concern, fitting me in, and explaining things to me clearly. I have moved farther away from this office, but continue to come here because of the wonderful care

High quality dental services but billing problematic
I have always had quality and professional dental cleaning here for the last few years. Dr Lin is caring and thorough. This time I had my night guard made and she patiently adjusted it a couple of times until it was comfortable. The reason I have to deduct two stars is because there is a gap when it comes to billing. I changed insurance this year so I called ahead to find out if my insurance would cover my night guard. The reception looked it up and informed me that it's not covered, and I would need to pay 100%. I paid the full amount on the day of service. Luckily, a coworker had her night guard done at her dentist's office. That office looked up her insurance which is the same as mine carefully, and informed her that it is covered 50%. I confirmed this by calling the insurance company myself. When I adjusted my night guard a week after the initial service, I informed them that it is covered by 50% and wanted to know when I can get my money back. They informed me that they had submitted their bill to my insurance and they will send me a check after insurance pays. Six weeks later, no check. I called to check, and they said they were waiting for insurance approval. Seven weeks later, I decided to call the insurance company myself. At that point, the insurance company had not received any bills from Canton Dental. I called the dental office during office hours but no one answered. I left a message. Eight weeks later, no call back from the dental office. I called the insurance company, and found out that they just received the bill today, more than 7 weeks after Canton Dental office told me that they had submitted the bill.
