I've been using Canton Heights Dental since Dr. K took over. They have always been professional and courteous. Several years ago I was there for a routine cleaning. A gentleman came in (not a resident of Cherokee County) with a toothache and needed his toothbrush pulled. I told them to take him before me he was in such pain. When he left he was very grateful for they had done to relief his pain. I recommend them when someone ask who I use. They may not remember this situation but I certainly do.

Highly Recommend this Dentist Office
It had been a long time since I had been to a dentist because of a bad experience & I had developed a lot of anxiety about going. I recently went for a cleaning & was blown away by how kind & understanding everyone is. My hygienist Connie was so friendly & personable & she did a great job on my teeth! Very minimal pain & my teeth look & feel healthy again! Doctor K was very warm & took the time to legitimize my anxiety & concerns. All of the staff have been amazing, it feels like a family! My husband is now a patient & I am taking our 4 kids next month. We have found our family dentist & couldn’t be happier!!!

Wonderful dental office
I had the best cleaning with Sherry, my hygienist. She is very thorough and I left feeling great! I always enjoy seeing the girls in the front office because they are so welcoming and I think Dr. K is awesome too!

The doctor and the staff were definitely friendly and accommodating, however the the two teeth and roots that were extracted left me in a great deal of pain. When ask before procedure was performed, the doctor and one of his staff told me under Georgia law that dentist are no longer able to prescribe pain meds. I did not go into the office in hopes to score meds, I was in extreme pain from two broken teeth that I had dealt with for days at that point. I even clarified with his staff a 2nd time saying, so your telling me no dentist in Georgia are allowed by law to prescribe any pain medication and was told a second time, that is correct. Truth is, that was very dishonest and have since discovered by talking with other dental professionals that in fact they could prescribe pain meds depending on type of work performed. Obviously a cleaning would not fall in that category. I was also told by other dentists that there's two reasons Canton Heights could not prescribe pain medication's. 1. Had their prescribing privileges revoked, or 2. Just did not want to deal with government agencies that monitor their prescription practices, but there is certainly no Ga. law that was changed disallowing Georgia Dentist the administering of the pain medication's. Like I said, the doctor and the staff were very nice and answered all question's and got me in for same day appointment. I just did not appreciate being lied to on several occasions.
