do not hire this company
Not only was the young buy incompetant but he spent 3 and a half hours sinking my real estate sale. If there is a bit of water on the floor from a mop he calles it a suspicious liquid , probably mold. if there was a small stain on the carpet it is probably mold. He actually went as far as to say some of the streaking on the ourside fascia was coming into the house through concrete walls. Read the other review on google too. Everythign down to the washing machine not spinning fast enought - SERIOUSLY THIS COMPANY IS BAD this company doesnt understand their role - they just assassinate your home. i g ave one star because i cant give none. Just like the person beliow i want to warn people about this company. The guy comes in and rips apart your home. There are scratches on my tile where he yanked out my appliances, one corner of my rug was ripped up and damaged and he calls everything toxic mold. I had mopped the floor with murphys oil soap and he called some of the liquid below the mop "unidentified liquid- probably mold" not only that every appliance apparently doesnt work and i had a leak from the outside wall. (This has been a plant pot that had been overwatered) This company is excessive and harsh and inflammatory. BE WARNED AND DONT USE THEM Be advised, here is what I experienced from Panther Home Inspection after they inspected my home.... 1. They mis-identified speaker wire for high voltage electrical wire 2. They said having water in the water softener brine tank was an "issue" and needed to be corrected. (The brine tank NEEDS to have salt and water mixed together to function properly, that is the definition of brine, so if it DIDNT have water, then it would be a problem) 3. I wrap aluminum foil around my well water supply pre-filter which has a clear plastic exterior. This prevents the sun from shining through the clear plastic and growing algae...they determined this aluminum foil was used to seal or plug a leak (as if that would even be possible) 4. The inspector could not figure out how to lock the slider door going out into the patio and recommended replacement of the whole slider...meanwhile the slider locks just fine 5. They incorrectly stated that low voltage exterior wiring had to be placed in a junction box which is not required by code. These are just a few examples of what I consider incompetence by the inspector and show that you might be able to buy a "How to be a Home Inspector" book and pass the license exam but not really know what you are talking about when actually working in the field. Unfortunately, incompetence like this can cost others quite a bit of time and money including sinking real estate transactions...Be advised
