They are amazing and work good with the children. I have recommended one of my co-workers to bring her children and one of my friends that just moved in the area. My little girl does not like doctors at all but they work fast and quick to get her looked at even while she is "singing" at the top of her lungs.

Awesome as always
Our family has been going to Centreville Children's Dentistry for over 6 years. We love Dr. Talaksi and her entire staff. They are always very warm and friendly when we come for our visits. Dr T. take the time to answer all of your questions and really cares about getting to know her patients. Our children enjoy going to the dentist and that says a lot!

This Dentist is great with special needs children
Treated my son with Autism and sensory disorder. The dentist and staff are great at working with frightened children. We had sedation treatment with a deep cleaning and seals put on my sons teeth. They are able to do a regular cleaning on him without sedation, something other dentists were not able to do.

I *love* this dentist's office!
We had an appointment today, and when I told my daughters about it this morning, my oldest got all excited and started dancing around the house, saying, "I love going to the dentist!" If that isn't the mark of a good children's dentist, I don't know what is. The office is very pleasant. The wait is not usually particularly long, and they have some Duplos and usually something child-friendly on a TV for the children to watch while they wait, plus a beautiful saltwater aquarium. My daughters love to watch for "Nemo" (there's a clownfish). The receptionists and dental hygienists are, to a one, all very pleasant, friendly, and good with kids. They treat "big kids" like big kids, not babying them, letting them feel grownup and responsible, but at the same time they are gentle and sweet with them. They do a great job with even screaming toddlers (last appointment I watched it with another family, and this appointment, unfortunately, it was my own screaming toddler). They have a "no cavi-tree" that children with no cavities get to stick their name to, which makes them feel special about not having had any cavities. They have goody bags ready for the kids when they leave, they let them pick out a nice small toy to go with it, and they give each kid a balloon. The dentist herself is very friendly, very good with the kids, and very gentle and quick. She's very good at keeping the parent informed about what's going on, what might be a risk factor for the future, if there are any special hygiene instructions, etc. And she's just generally very easy to talk to. I would *highly* recommend this dentist's office to anybody who is looking for a pediatric dentist in the area (I only wish they accepted adults, I'd switch to Dr. Talaksi in a heartbeat!).
