Unprofessional and rude
Never will I ever take my kids again. They are rude. Don't know what's going on which pretty much sums it up. Dental is costly don't waste your money here.

High quality, professional service
Allow me to clarify the previous comment: Parents are allowed to accompany their child for their cleaning or treatment exams. Our clinic DOES NOT deny a parent to accompany their child for either of these appointments. We do have rules to accompany this policy. You may find that information on our website at www.tooth-worx.com under the Home button. I have also enclosed that information below. We hope this information is helpful. Should you have questions please feel free to call us at 575-257-0246. AM I ALLOWED TO ACCOMPANY MY CHILD DURING THEIR VISITS We invite you to stay with your child during the initial comprehensive dental examination. Our purpose is to gain your child's confidence and overcome apprehension. Should your child need treatment you are more than welcome to accompany your child to the treatment room. One parent is allowed to accompany their child receiving treatment. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult. We ask that you be respectful of the Doctor’s and staff’s time and request that all cell phones or electronic devices are put away and on silent mode in the exam areas.

Never again
They DO not let you go back with your child, even little terrified children. They belittle you and scold you for wanting to, tell you your child has to grow up.

Comment Response to Maria R.
On behalf of the Children's Dental Clinics of Ruidoso & Alamogordo this is in response to Maria R's comment (who has identified herself in the previous comment). We strive to go above and beyond to provide our patients the best dental care in the most positive, caring and professional child-friendly environment. We have policies in place that we ask parents to abide by. First, as with any other medical clinic regarding appointments, we ask that parents bring their child on time to their reserved appointment. These appointments are reserved solely for their child. Second, parents are always allowed and encouraged to be present for their child's dental appointment including treatment. Our policy allows one parent to accompany their child during treatment. Siblings are not allowed unless they are scheduled for treatment. We expect parents to give their undivided attention as they remain with their child during treatment. If siblings not scheduled for treatment accompany parents with patient we will cancel the appointment. Ms. R, brought patient late to a 50 minute reserved appointment along with a sibling. We reminded her of our policy. Ms. R made the decision to cancel a 50 minute appointment reserved just for her child without regard to other patients who are in need of dentistry that could have been scheduled during the busy summer season. Third, we never charge Medicaid for broken appointments since Medicaid does not compensate for broken appointments, however too many broken appointments will require a fee to make further reserved appointments. Fourth, our staff is one of the best, caring and most professional staff we have. They are part of our team because they enjoy working with Dr. Childress, patients and parents. We are not certain why reference to our staff was made in Ms. R's comment. Ms.R brought her children to our clinic once. We wish them the best. We will continue to provide the absolute best dental care and experience at our child-friendly dental clinics for both our patients and their parents. We look forward to serving our families in the Ruidoso and Alamogordo areas.

Dentist has no etiquette
The dentist is rude and feels he can judge . No respect and not trustful at all. I feel bad for the people that work with him it must be horrible I got to see how he really is and I rather drive 2 hours to take my daughters to dentist. I already filed de real complains for his i professionalism. Since I decided not to let him threat my daughter alone he told me he was going to charge my insurance for broken appointment well funny because my insurance doesn't pay for that.

Awesome
They made my child so comfortable, they treated us like family!!! They play movies while getting dental work done, and the employees always remember my sons name!! They really take their time to get to know your child. They offer Disney trips for NO cavities!!!! They only down fall is that I was not able to be there for my son, but did get to see their work threw a window and how kind they were to my son. I heard that that has changed, you can be there in the room with your child. He didn't even cry he got right into the chair, they offer so many different dental work for children and they work with financial issues. I would definitely recommend them to other families!!!!
