First time going to Comfort Dental and I felt as if I was another number in a system. No actual care or compassion for what was happening I didn't feel comfortble nor relaxed one bit. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction, felt rushed and forced. Very painful and when it was finished the dentist was on to the next patient. No talk of proper care or what things I might experience after just wrench out the tooth and gone. Will never go back. Very unpleasant visit.

Awesome Dentist, Awesome Place!
Ben Thornal dds is an amazing guy and an outstanding dentist!! Quite the artist! He molded and fashioned a tooth matching PERFECTLY with the original which is almost impossible to do! So many dentists are unable to do that!! We are so very happy with the quality of work and his genuiness and professionalism. He will be our dentist for years to come! Thanks Comfort Dental or outstanding work and service!!

What you'd want.
My children and I were treated well, and we got a great referral, and a great price.

Assitants are kind and so is the doctor but not the secretaries.
I like going to places were I know they will treat me fairly. When I go to my daily checkups every month the dentist's are very kind. Always making me feel good. But several days ago I had an issue with the secretaries in Comfort Dental Braces. You see, they always let me know ahead of time when and at what time my appointment is going to be. (This helps a lot since I have to drive 2 hours or 1 hour away back and fort from glenwood, not to mention it gives me time to let my job know if its fine with me going early.) Well several days ago, they called me the same day I had my appointment to let me know that they had reschedule my appointment to an earlier hour. This did bug me a bit because I had asked to leave a certain time from work so I would be able to make it to my appointment at the time they had already said before. I didn't mind it as much at first though until I got to comfort dental at the time they had, had told me at first. They didn't seem very happy & instead of apoligizing about changing my appointment that same exact day they began to give me a bit of an additude. Thankfully they did attend me that day. But as soon as I was about to leave one of the girls commented" next time can you let us know 15 minutes before coming in late". That did really bother me because that wasn't exactly my fault. I understand that I could have called them to let them know I couldn't make it at the time they had told me. But I still didn't see how it was fair for them to get mad at me for a misunderstanding like that.

High Quality Service, Professional, and Friendly
Dr. Ben Thornal was AMAZING! Very professional and so kind! I thought I did not have dental insurance so he was going to save me over $100 for a broken filling I had. I ended up having insurance to pay for it but he was so helpful anyway. He had other patients at the same time but I felt like I had his full attention when he was with me. Dr. Thornal also calls his patients a day or two after his service to make sure everything is ok! Would highly recommend for anyone!!!

No preventative dental care
Sept 22 I turned 65 and Medicare does not cover dental I saw dr Shea for 2 fillings in upper front teeth November 1st I could see cavity in lower front tooth. Took 3 weeks to see a different dentist who took 3 X-rays of lower front teeth. 7 cavities estimate 1K! He suggested I have them all pulled. Dr Shea did call and apologize and explained they just don't do X-rays for preventative dental care. I don't have 1k. Going to loose all those teeth eventually now. Someone just kill me now. As a new patient, I went in thinking the best, Dr Ben Thornal was sharp and seemed to genuinely care. He went in to replace a 25 year old filling and a tooth cleaning. The assistant I had was new, was very unsure of herself, and did not speak english well. Dr Ben was divided between me and 2 other patients in the assembly line-type dentistry practice. I held my breath and hoped for the best. My mouth numb from the procedure, I drove home, 1.5 hours away. By the time I got home, the numbness was wearing off and I could feel that my new filling had a sharp highpoint that was painfully cutting the back and tender part of my tongue throughout the night. I was upset that not only did Dr Ben mess up because he could only offer me but 1/3 of his attention, I had to take more time off of work, drive all the way back, and was insulted that after I asked for compensation, they only offered me $20. I refused the money and instead will spend my time sharing with everyone to go elsewhere for your dentistry needs. AVOID!
