Horrible communication. Chris was our project manager (I think he's actually a 3rd party contractor hired by DKI). But he and his manager Mark do NOT communicate. I live in California so I could not be there to oversee the work on my rental. I was told that the work would start at the end of October (6 weeks AFTER) my insurance hired them to fix the leak in my roof. A few nights later, my tenants called me to let me know that the work was done. ??? I didn't even know they had started!! This poor communication went on for another TWO months!!! The work itself was good (according to my tenants, the city inspector and the inspector my insurance sent out). But.... the workers left THOUSANDS of nails all over the yard. My tenants have kids and dogs, thankfully nobody was hurt. So, from start to finish, 4.5 months... All they did was replace the roof on a 2500 square foot house. The work itself only took a few days. What took so stinking long was them never calling me. Never sending me my paperwork to file with the insurance. I even talked with the President, Shaun, and that didn't solve anything. Even the office staff are poor communicators. I would NEVER hire this company ever again. The worst customer service.
