We are the Ubele family from Nashua,NH. We experienced a pipe break in our home this past May,2020. Construction Services of New Hampshire did the work for us.
We had a wonderful experience with Construction Services of New Hampshire and Reliable Restoration and Recovery. They were here very quickly when we called for help. We had a pipe break under our kitchen sink. We had extensive damage to our kitchen and our downstairs family room. They quickly took out everything that was wet and brought in big fans and dehumidifiers to dry things out. They packed up our belongings and put them in storage. Then the construction crew came in and began the work. They were all wonderful to work with! Lori the project manager was very professional and helpful with picking out cabinets, floor, kitchen backsplash and wallpaper. All the workers who came into our home were all polite and did very neat work. We would like to thank Spyder the carpenter,Tom our counter top and backsplash man,to Ed the painter and wallpaper man. And a big thank you to the plumbers and electricians. It was a wonderful experience to the nightmare we went through! I would recommend this company to anyone needing work done. And a big thank you to Dennis the owner for sending such a professional crew!

Recommend NOT to hire BTW Construction, Litchfield, NH
Despite some legitimate July/Aug delays due to ‘covid’ supply chain issues and power lines, in early August we were told by Ben Wall of BTW Construction that our screen porch project was ‘priority’ and that he would complete it the ‘end of Aug. and first week of Sept’. MULTIPLE weekly promises and excuses later, along with some terse emails & calls, the project was finally completed Oct. 9th at 5pm! Additionally: Ben refuses to put an end date in his contracts, over-promises and under-delivers, and, although his workmanship is generally good, when there are ‘errors’ he promises to fix them but mostly does not do so, which means we incurred HOURS of re-do, fit-it, and clean-up: at our time & expense, not to mention the stress and aggravation of a repeatedly re-worked schedule for us. We have pictures to back up these comments. PS: even though we loved our garage that Ben built in fall 2019, the cement apron cracked (1/4” by 6’ long crack) within 4 weeks, prior to driving on it & prior to any winter frost, and the 2 month garage Project took 4 months! We had already contracted for the 2020 screen porch & Ben had promised to ‘fix the apron in 2020”....we had to fix it ourselves Oct. 2020 because he never got to it. Time management is an ongoing issue for this contractor. We will never use BTW Construction again (we had a quote from him this summer to do a 3rd project but delayed signing it this time until the screen porch was done-smart move on our part or we would’ve been stuck with Ben for a 3rd time!) NOTE: both of these projects were significant cost, and we are VERY flexible people.

Quality carpentry and clean up.
A tree fell on the house. They did a great job with the clean up and rebuild. They worked with me to build it a bit different and that wasnt a problem. There last project manager was a real mess and probably worked on the jobs listed below with the bad reviews. A new project manager was hired in mid november and there back to the quality and professionalism they have offered for a few decade's now.

Worse than the Fire
We hired Reliable Restoration and Recovery, a division of Construction Services of New Hampshire, with the understanding that they would clean our house and care for our possessions, and CSNH would rebuild it with the addition of a dormer. Their contract for the cleanup, demo, and storage gave no timeline, no list of services, and no prices; instead it put the obligation on the customer without guaranteeing anything in return. In five months, they did not complete the restoration and cleanup or offer us a contract to rebuild our home. When we hired another contractor to rebuild our house and finish the demo and cleanup, we found out they had not been billing the insurance company or seeking advance approval for their work. The bill they sent the insurance company after we asked them to return our belongings included work they had never done, such as removing insulation from the basement, removing a vinyl floor from the bathroom - it had a tile floor and they did not remove it - removing insulation from the basement, and removing a wood floor. They also send a bill for a $25,000 asbestos cleanup which had never been approved by our insurance company. Although they promised to return our belongings from storage, they twice reneged, holding on to our possessions for six weeks as leverage in their negotiations with the insurance company for their unapproved expenses, and then to secure payment from us. They expected payment on delivery in what they called â??the exchange", not providing us with and inventory or allowing us to conduct one. Furniture was returned unfinished, our books, photo albums, and piano were never cleaned or ionized, and several items were missing and damaged. I would not recommend RR&R and its parent company, CSNH.

Wish I could give ZERO stars
This is the website/company that comes up when you do a search for Reliable Restoration......they can't even be professional enough to have their own website??? Worst company I've ever worked with in my life. They were sent out by my insurance company for cleaning after a small fire in a fully finished basement. Terrible cleaning, terrible scheduling, just plain terrible all around. I finally told my insurance adjuster to GET SOMEONE ELSE as I would not allow their people back in my house. And they still haven't returned all my belongings that they took out to clean. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

If I could give them -0 stars I would...they are the worst! Please don't use them...project manager was unprofessional and work on finished basement rebuild due to water damage was shoty to say the least...took 9+ months to finish..after several times trying to work with them and 6 months into project I finally gave up and told them never to set foot on my property again and I told them I was calling my insurance company to come to my home to see how much they hadn't completed...they called me and said they were firing the project manager of my job (they told me this was not the 1st job he had screwed up) they assured me they would put someone else in charge and would complete my job in a timely fashion...ya..that didn't happen! Doors that should have been replaced weren't, light switches put in wrong places, doors that they did replace were hung backwards, missing molding, terrible and messy paint jobs (redone 3x) paint everywhere, wrong ceiling fan hung, key lock put on wrong door, unfinished ceiling in closet - I guess those exposed pipes weren't a big give away that ceiling needed to be finished, they cut corners and used cheaper materials than what I had originally had..main thing that hurts the most they threw away many many sentimental items without my knowledge things that could have been saved...non sentimental items that could have been saved were also thrown out ... the owner never returned phone calls or answered emails...I was told by one of the construction guys they could have built 3 houses in the time it took to finish my small basement....very frustrating
