Amazing experience, with the most friendly staff ever
I am 28 and have only been to a regular dentist 3 times in my life due to neglectful dad/step-mom, and then my own anxiety over doctors as an adult. This dental office was compassionate, kind, extremely observant to my needs and made sure to talk me through the harder parts of my dental work. I was shown how to floss and brush properly, and was not shamed for being neglectful of my teeth in the past. I was educated on how to go forward, and had fun learning while getting my teeth fixed. I had a total of 8 cavities done, antibacterial work for mid level gum disease, and a full mouth four quadrants of scaling and deep clean. They accomplished everything in under 5 hours, and I left feeling satisfied with the cost, customer service and the quality of technical work they did on my teeth. Dr. Audi, Asst. Yolly, my dental hygienist (I’m sorry, I do not remember his name), and all of the finance and front desk staff were absolutely wonderful to me. I will always recommend them and Dental Associates of Torrance to anyone who asks for a dentist! Five stars, and my deep gratitude!

Overcharging and extremely long wait times
****PLEASE READ**** If you respect the following, please AVOID this office: - Your TIME: expect to wait up to an hour past your appt just to be called in. This has happened to me on 3 separate occasions, so no, it was not a one time issue. Once you're in, now wait another 30 mins just to be seen. On one of my visits, I was literally there for 4 HOURS!!! - Your MONEY: I noticed on my explanation of benefits (eob) file received from my insurance provider, that I should have only paid $60 for that particular visit, however the office had charged me almost $300 before I left the office!! I went back to the office to discuss when I later received the eob file from my insurance provider. They charged me for services that were NOT provided...aka *fraud*. I looked back at a previous eob and noticed the same issue...charged for a service i did not receive! Their sales associates are just working for the commission and are incentivized to charge you as much as possible. They also lie - I was told I had a deductible, but I didn't. Can not trust. The long wait times...I can deal with. But, the fraudulent billing...I can not. Disputes have been filed, I will also report this office to the appropriate gov't offices.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring
Everyone here is very nice and as soon as you walk in you are treated like an old friend--you will instantly feel right at home. In addition, all of the staff are very knowledgeable, each an expert in their own special function. Procedures are performed in a thorough manner--you are not rushed in and out. The amount you pay depends on how good your dental insurance is, just like with any other insurance, and you really get your money's worth in quality of service and quality of care at Dental Associates of Torrance.

Most unethical and dishonest dentist in America
Dental Associates of Torrance is the most unethical and dishonest dental practice in America. Needed work done. They gave me a quote of $3,600 out of pocket after my insurance. When they finished the work, they told me I owed $5,300 and I had no choice but to pay that amount. Their attitude was "screw you". Stay as far away from Dental Associates of Torrance as possible. They are crooks
