They changed the total price without informing me
I came here to fix a loose permenant retainer on the back of my top teeth. Upon inspection the dentist discovered the retainer was previously repaired incorrectly, resulting in a shift in one of my two front teeth. He also noted an asymmetry of the gumline but said he could fix it as well. He offered to fix the tooth using invisalign over 9 weeks for a total cost of $3,000. I agreed. My weekly experience was positive, the staff were friendly, the dentist helpful. I was given an at-home teeth whitening kit to make sure my teeth looked their best at the end of the 9 weeks. After 6 weeks i made my first payment of $1,500 with the remaining $1,500 paid the following week. During my second to last appointment, when my new permenant retainer was installed I asked him about the gumline. He said it was minor but that he could fix it with a laser. He did. When i returned the final week to collect my night time retainer, which he suggested, i was informed that i still owed $250 for the gumline fix and the night time retainer. At no time was I informed of this additional cost, even though i confirmed on multiple occassions that $3,000 would be the total price. Every time something was suggested, i asked about the price. My otherwise positive experience was ruined by this perceived deception.
