Beautiful Kitchen Renovation
My daughter told me about Clyde of EKO Homes when I needed a galley-kitchen renovation. I was nervous about using someone outside my Mitchel-Lama Co-Op because if I sell the co-op and the buyer doesn't like the kitchen I will have to pay to remove it. But if I used someone recommended by the co-op I would not. In addition the co-op board had so many guideline and time of day restrictions I thought it would be difficult to have anyone complete this job, but EKO Homes made it happen. Although it took longer than expected, my kitchen is brighter and more beautiful and functional now. I have a dish-washer and lovely floors, cabinets and more countertop space. Even though I kept my stove and refrigerator, it looks like I have a new kitchen. Everyone that comes to visit remarks at how beautiful the remodel is. I love to cook so I especially love being in my kitchen now. And the co-op board approved the work after EKO Homes complete it!

Moved to NYC and within 48 hours found my handyman
Clyde is the man. Courteous, professional, and highly skilled. I hired him to do some interior painting and he even threw in some free painting of other things I hadn't originally asked to include. The guy's a licensed contractor and does electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, and a few days after painting I asked him to come back and for some more work.

Smart & Competent Contractor
Clyde of EKO Homes renovated my apartment and front/back yards in 2009. I'm still happy with his work. He offered smart suggestions that I didn't even think about, that I now understand, e.g. recessed lighting, 3-way lighting (so more than one light switch would control a highly used light source and save me walking time or climbing stairs). I chose an IKEA kitchen. He pre-measured and installed it for a perfect fit. I'm happy with his flooring installation and new enlarged windows created. I'm happy with the brick design he created in my front yard. It's a lovely home and I made the right choice picking Clyde of EKO Homes for my renovation. I had to move in with family for a couple of months because I didn't want to live with the dust and depris. Now that it's many years later, I just see it as a very positive experience.
