This place used to be good, great even around 4-5 years ago then something happened. I went regularly for around 12 years and it was my go to place for massages. Excellent service, excellent massages. Now it is my very last resort. It is the place I go to if nothing else is available. This is because each time I book, I inevitably get a call more times than not stating there has been a double booking, a cancellation, can the time be moved, all stuff that is fine and perfectly understandable when it happens once in a while but when it happens most times...now its poor service and frankly, not great massages. As of today, the record is three times in a row with last minute cancellations. A loyal customer has been lost. Have no idea what has happened with this place. It is a real shame.

Bad customer service
I was charged $50.00, the price on the website was showing $45.00 for a Brazilian. I emailed the clinic WITH MY RECEIPT AND TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT THEIR RECORDS and received a reply from Trevor saying they failed to update their website and that they were keeping the $5.00 on file for future business. THIS IS NOT YOURS TO KEEP AFTER ME POINTING OUT THE ERROR. My Brazilian (wax removal of ALL hair in intimate area front and back) was with Erika December 2018. The room had inadequate lighting (they are designed for massage). A LOT of the hair was missed. The esthetician failed to finish the job with tweezers. When I got home I tried to tweeze them out myself but got discouraged quick (it hurts) and I could not see or reach the hair on my labia. Weeks later, I notice an unusually higher than normal increase in ingrown hair which suggests faulty technique, the hair was pulled in the wrong direction. I have my boyfriend spend over an hour poking at my skin on several occasions now causing tears, bleeding and discomfort, this is very disappointing to me since getting Brazilians every month for now 2 years, never had such an issue with ingrowns. I emailed the clinic about this but seems they did not care… I have been a loyal client to Elgin Massage Therapy since 2015 and used to see Joey Bernique RMT for massage. When Joey left I took my business to another therapist at Body Poets who happened to recently be hired by Elgin Massage Therapy, Tyler Milewski. I was really happy to see that Tyler was now at Elgin Massage Therapy and was waiting for my benefits to renew in order to book massage in 2019, but seeing the way this business works, I no longer wish to associate myself with it.
