What a Joke
TLDR: 1/5 reconstruction, 0/5 customer service, 4/5 scam artists Attempted to charge me 3 times industry average quote, and only did a quarter of requested work. Workmanship issues: -The grout lines of the original tiles are not matching the newly installed tiles -The newly installed tiles are a different color than the original tiles -The repainting of the drywall was sloppily done -There is a stain on my carpet from the labor provided -There is a chip on my bathroom floor tile -The shower is not working. As you increase the temperature of the shower, the amount of water that flows through the shower valve decreases and the amount that flows through the bath valve increases. -The shower is still leaking into the unit below Review: My shower was leaking into the unit below mine and required a full demo of all shower walls, mitigation and a reconstruction. The mitigation and demo was complete upon the time Justin Lund and Elite Roofing & Remodeling entered the scene. Justin Lund is who I was working with to get the job done, learning lesson for me, never send the contractor the insurance appraisal. He immediately attempted to charge me the full price without even reading the estimate. When requesting a work order or any form of paperwork from Justin, these requests were ignored until my 5th ask, in which he responded he doesn't do paperwork, that is what the insurance appraisal was for. Concerning in its own right. Justin's first fix occurred on 1/22/20, the demo occurred on 12/23/19. 2 months now without a shower in a single bathroom condo. This attempt included the reinstallation of the bathtub and 20 square feet of tile. The job required the replacement of 100 square feet. This left me with mismatched tile and an overall terrible look which you can see from the photos. Justin's response was to resurface the old tiles so they look new. But why did we cut corners in the first place I asked? He responded it was a miscommunication... so the 4 times I asked you for a write up, and you told me to view the document I sent him.. then he didn't follow that document. Sounds like a scammer caught in the act to me. This is when I lost my cool. Justin reported that his guy sent him detailed photos, yet he didn't notice the mismatch in color? Justin claimed he never knew we needed roughly 100 square feet of tile? Justin's response to not doing the full job was to take an additional short cut? I informed Justin there are so many things you have screwed up so far that you have lost my trust and I would like to work with someone else. He attempted to bill me for the entire job? Luckily, in his sloppy work he forgot to collect on the initial 50% deposit up front. I pointed this out to him as well. His response and I quote: "I’m very busy and it simply slipped my mind to still collect it. I was focused on getting it done for you. And to be honest with you it was such a small amount i wasn't too worried." He continued on to say he would finally do the job as it was requested by insurance, but not from scratch. Just attempt to match the new tile, with more new tile. Mind you, the grout lines were crooked so not sure how that was going to fix that, or even the color issue could still prove problematic. My thought was to test out the workmanship before letting him into my home to "fix" this mess. Turns out the shower didn't work as seen in the photos, and it was STILL leaking into the unit below. All in all, Justin caused more damage to my unit than aid, and still wants me to pay him thousands of dollars, despite it being such a SMALL amount to him, and his reputation is much more important. Well here you go Justin, this is me paying it forward. You saw an opportunity for a quick buck, didn't handle the opportunity with care. If you had been honest about your poor practice, we could have walked separate ways like I pleaded to you. Maybe don't berate your consumers when they have valid concerns? You even admitted damaging my home in writing? Hope the small amount was worth it.

This business was professional and easy to work with from the estimate to completion. They respond to questions and the work was done well. Their prices were better than a company that did my friends roof which was 300 sq ft smaller. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.
