First time customer and...
I was impressed. Mike was thorough and kind. He answered all my questions and provided me with knowledge to maintain my home during the winter season. Very helpful! Would recommend to anyone requiring a home inspection.

An Honest, knowledgeable Top Inspector
I have used Mike White for over 12 years, and as a top Real Estate agent, I want to protect my clients as best I can. That's why I recommend Mike. I also tell my clients to ask around and see if some of their friends can recommend someone they trust. They have a choice. He's extremely thorough and presents you with a 3 ring Home Inspection Binder which is where he writes his final report and you hear what he has to say about each area of the house on the spot. Unlike those inspectors that you have to wait to the next day when they type it out. I would highly recommend Mike white of Home Pro Inspections His number is 613-860-4848. Agent 34 years in the Real Estate business.

A lousy inspector that may put your investment at risk, be careful when you hire him if he may have any connection to your real state agent
He inspected the property I bought and despite so many deficiencies in the property he did not detect any of them. The worst part of the inspection relates to several cracks in the foundation. I paid 8000 dollars to seal these cracks from outside but the crack is still there in my foundation. These cracks decreases the resale value of my property drastically. I raised my concerns about these cracks but he reported them as minor in his report and told me they are normal part of any inspection. He asked for cash for his fees to discount my charges (not to pay HST). Very unfriendly and unapproachable. Do not hire him. His opinion has no value in my humble opinion.

Mr Zarepour We have discussed at length, both during the inspection and via many phone calls and emails prior to your purchase and after your purchase that there were cracks in your foundation. It is clearly documented in your report that there were several cracks in your foundation. It was also clearly explained to you during the inspection as well as stated within the report that a combination of these cracks as well as the very poor grading on the property that water intrusion into the basement was a real possibility. It is clearly stated within the report that you should consult an expert regarding these cracks. It was also recommended that you obtain the warranties for the repaired cracks which were identified and documented. You have all of this information in writing as well as photographic evidence of the cracks. I provided you with all of the information you required to make your own decision. The fact that you failed to follow up on my suggestions, and failed to take the recommended corrective action was a failure on your part. Your comment of my requesting cash is patently false. You were informed of the price of the inspection days before the inspection took place. You showed up with $400 cash (short $80.25 of the fee) and said you weren't going to pay any more. I really don't care what method of payment is used, as long as I receive full payment. I have never cash discounted. The tax you owed, plus the $25 you shorted me on the fee came out of my pocket. This one star review is not in line with the 36 5 star reviews. In fact it actually goes to show people viewing this page that these are in fact real reviews.

The home inspection on a prospective new home was both thorough and professionally done. The inspector was very knowledgeable and clearly communicated his findings and provided explanations of the options for each of his findings. I would highly recommend HomePro Inspections to prospective home buyers and will definitely use them for future purchases.

Professional and honest!
As first-time home buyers, Mike at HomePro made us feel very comfortable with the inspection process. He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do and why, and was completely open to us interjecting with questions when we were unsure about something. Mike took his time and didn't seem to rush through any steps of the process. He explained both the good things he found and the not so good and clearly outlined any steps we should take to fix things. All around a great experience for what could be a stressful/anxious process!

Great First Home Buying Experience
No matter how small, Mike made sure to point out everything that may need to be fixed up (even if it was only cosmetic) and how to prevent future problems. I feel like I have a good feel of the house and what my priorities are as far as fixing. He was able to tell me what's easy to fix right away with cost estimates. I also learned a lot about upkeep to help reduce the amount of replacements needed. The binder given was extremely helpful and the notes written were descriptive.

Excellent work
Mike White inspected a house that we were considering purchasing - and eventually did purchase - in October 2015. His inspection felt thorough, he answered our questions helpfully during the inspection, and he left us with a very detailed record of work that needed to be done and the degree of importance/urgency. His advice felt professional and expert. We would definitely recommend Mr White's service.

Great service, laymans terns
Mike, took the time to explain each deficiency and potential long and short term impact. Mike also anwered other general questions not related to the assignement at hand. I would recommend him again or if we were asked of a home inspector to use.

Extremely thorough and knowledgeable
Mike was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He took his time and spent four hours in a little town-house to make sure he went over every detail. The issues he found we were able to bring to the seller and get them to do the repairs before closing. He literally saved us thousands of dollars. Best money I ever spent!
