Unprofessional, Incorrect assessment
I waited 20 minutes to be called back. They have a scale and take your weight (!?), which I thought very peculiar at a dental office. It was over 1.5 hours from my arrival to take the x-rays and have the dentist consult before they were even going to start the cleaning. I had to reschedule for the cleaning, which in the end I canceled. I had been seeing my former dentist regularly for 15 years, but when my insurance changed I had to find a new dentist that would be in-network. I thought I would try HomeTown Dental. The reason I ended up canceling my cleaning is because I did not trust them. The dentist looked at my x-rays and then took digital cam pictures and proceeded to assess me with 7 cavities!!! I had to ask him to repeat himself as I was in shock! I haven't had new cavities in over 10 years! I decided to go back to my regular dentist (even if I had to pay) for the cleaning and check-up. No surprises here, ZERO cavities! Perhaps he mistook coffee stains for cavities.

Dentist and dentist staff polite and professional
The 3.5 is due to receptionist first person you and the whom helps with appointments. She can use training on proffesionlism with customers. Made apoinment during conversation heard a lot of "umm" I don't know and "wait". Would have perferd could you please wait or let me find what avaible hours we have instead of I don't know. Went too my appointment sat down then heard her say hey you when clearly she has my information n knows my name so rude. And the hey you you don't have coverage across the waiting room irritating when they could have called me ahead of time and gotten my updated insurance if they didn't have it on file. Like professional receptions in the medical field.

3 Star Stop
Waited over an hour past my appointment time to even be seen. Once I was seen the actual dental work was very good. No complaints there. I was given tylenol for a wisdom tooth that was cut out. When I called to tell them my medicine wasn't working they told me that I was just gonna have to deal with the pain because they didn't want to give me different medicine. I was still in pain 5 days after my procedure. I called to ask if that was normal or what I needed to do and the response I got was "and what do you expect me to do for you?!" Dental work was good. Pre and Post patient care lacking.

Very professional and helpful. The Dentist was very informative and actually had a concern for the patients needs. Front and back office staff were friendly and kind to the patient which is difficult when your not at your best during a procedure. Thank you for helping during a very painful situation.
