waste of time
UFT members Do Not patronize this place! They don't value your time. My wife and I came here as new patients. We arrived thirty minutes earlier, we signed in and we were told to take a seat. We did. About ten people were in the waiting area. Everyone looked tired. Fifteen minutes later I went to the receptionist and reminded her that we are new patients and since we're waiting why don't we do the paperwork now. She thought it was a good idea. While she's getting the paperwork for me a woman is complaining about being here for two hours and no one had seen her. (Hint, Hint) Interesting I thought. Why is this woman waiting for two hours? As my wife and I are working on the paperwork, another woman is having issues with her insurance. The receptionist is telling her that they don't accept her insurance. The woman responds that she should have been told this when she made the appointment when she provided the type of insurance that she had. The receptionist tried to get this woman to pay out of pocket and then submit the payment to her insurance company. This woman was adamant and insisted that it was the clinic's error for scheduling this appointment when they knew which type of insurance she had. (Hint. Hint.) She asked to speak to an office manager. Finally, the office manager said that they will work with her this time. The woman's response was fine and I will go someplace else next time. At twenty minutes past four (twenty minutes after my scheduled appointment) I approached the window and asked, "Why isn't anyone calling us and don't you honor the appointment?? Her response was, "Some people have to wait a little bit depending on their insurance coverage." This makes no sense to me. I told her, "I don't want to wait because I left work early to be here on time." She said that soon as she processes my paperwork we would be called. She also said, "I just gave you the paperwork." I replied, "No, I asked for the paperwork and that was thirty-five minutes ago. Tell me how much longer will I have to wait?" She couldn't answer me. I GOT THE MESSAGE I left the office. I will never return. While in the car, my wife is reading the reviews about this place. Had I read the reviews ahead of time I never would have wasted my time. All the positive reviews about this place are phony written by ghost writers.

Ella who did my cleaning in two appointments is a monster. She savaged and chopped up my gums and when I went back to the office because I still had gum bleeding 24 hours after my appointment all she could say to me was its normal to bleed. I had to go the emergency room after I wasted ny time to go back and see them. Ella is rude,mean and very nasty to people. She was even screaming at the assisting people that took me to her room. She just seems to be a horrible,terrible person who is never happy and always in a bad mood. The assisting people were nice and friendly but the reception people can do with some smiling also. The doctor that I saw in the Emergency told me this person that did my cleaning seems like a monster because my gums were so chopped up when they checked me . So here you have it folks Ella is a nightmare stay away from her!

Cleaning Ella is a monster
I had a cleaning with Ella in 2 appointments. She was mean,rude and nasty to me when I went back the third time after she savaged my gums.I went to the ER after she said she couldn't help me and its normal that I was bleeding 24 hours later! The emergency Dr at Montefiore hospital told me seems like a monster did my dental cleaning. She is horrible stay away folks! Office is nice and other staff in the front and assisting people were nice.

Had a nice experience at the dental clinic like always.The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the receptionist that booked my appointment the evening before. Doctor Igor very friendly put me at ease and help me with my issue . Can’t wait to go back for my follow up appointment.

All specialists did thorough work
Very pleased with both hygienist and dentist. Olga L was excellent!! And the dentist really went the extra mile to make sure that I had all my issues resolved in just one visit.

High Quality and Professional Services
Had old Bridge removed, area cleaned up and temporary bridge put in. Yesterday went to get new bridge put in and it practically took maybe 10 minutes. But Dr. Igor is always very professional and knows what he is doing. The staff from the moment I arrived was very friendly as well.

Today, I was humiliated by a dentist in this office. I had a 4:00 appt and arrived at 3:32 and was not seen until after 6:00. The dentist was very rude when I asked her questions about my dental work and when I was waiting to make my next appt, I overheard her telling the dental assistants that it was not her fault I don’t brush my teeth or floss (which I do regularly).

Everything is great, as a new patient I had to fill out paper work. I also had to take tons of pictures of my teeth. Which was expected. But, if I make an appointment for tooth pain, I would the dentist to do something about that. Not just look at my teeth, tell me about what I should do about other things with my other teeth. Then make another appointment to fix what I came in for. The dentist seems like a great person and knows what she is doing and what is best for my teeth. I will go back to her to fix what she found wrong. I was hoping to have something done for my pain that day.

From scheduling of my appointment to my wisdom tooth extraction, it was probably the most corteous and enjoyable office visit I’ve ever had. The staff is very professional, I received expert care and they made sure I had all the information necessary to take care of my mouth at home.

Disappointed in information not given fully verbally.
I was very disappointed when I was offered the laughing gas that I wasn't told upfront that it would cost me out of pocket. I have 6 children and cannot afford $200 to pay for something that when I signed I was rushing due to me being late or work, and am used ro being told all upfront verbally as well as contractual. I find it only fair that each client be given a heads up verbally, if you see that they don't not have 100% efficient enough time to read the material. I knew I was not going to be able to come back the second visit with my son's, and I had to have a proxy to stand in. O thought I was signing a form that gave authorization for the gas to be used, as the doctor told me that I had to sign off the the procedure. Now I will not trust the members of this facility going forward, and I'm not sure of i would recommend this site to other customers as they are not forcomming with information verbally.
