Wonderful!
This was our first time seeing Dr. Rust and my 4 yr old son's first dental appointment. Denise was wonderful and explained everything to him before she started anything. Dr. Rust was so kind to him especially when my son started feeling nervous. Everyone was so patient and kind!

3rd filling and still scared
Full disclosure: I missed my original appointment due to weather and school delays and so the nice ladies responsible for scheduling got me back on 1 day later. Thank you very much for being understanding and accommodating When I walked in the door, the first thing Dr Phillips said was 'You do look yourself. What's wrong?' I answered, 'I'm scared Doc.' 34 years old and I am afraid of something as simple as getting a tooth filled. I've had 2 others done already, both by Dr Phillips so what did I have to be scared of? He assured me its a simple procedure, and while I knew that was the truth, my stomach was in knots and my hands and feet were ice cold. No denying it, I wanted to be anywhere on Earth but in that office as quickly as possible. Dr Phillips smiled, asked me to sit down and told me they were going to take care of me. I knew the routine, first the numbing, then the real hardware came out. I laid there staring at the intercom cover plate directly over my head as various tools were shuffled and made ready. Did you know those plates have 309 little holes drilled in them? Trust me I had plenty of time to count them. Now if you have never had more than a cleaning at Dr Phillips and Rust's office I won't spoil the method, but sufficed to say they use a trick of nervous misdirection to keep your mouth from focusing on having a needle jabbed into it. I can't thank them enough for that. They turned the root of my fear into a trifle, and after that initial hurdle the rest was easy. I am now the proud owner of a 3rd filling with the novacane still wearing off. Thank you very much Dr Phillips, job well done. See you in 6 months
