Perfectly Satisfied!
Over the years, I have always wanted a periwinkle blue colored car. So when I started looking for a painter during the summer of 2017, I received several recommendations from friends--they were not for Maaco. However, when the most highly recommended car repair guy said they only do paint jobs for repairs and that Maaco would be the most reasonable, I started researching them. Here is what I found out: 1. Almost every Maaco company is part of a franchise so you will get different levels of service and performance 2. Some of the reviews were terrible--poor service, not doing what the customer wanted, incorrectly quoted prices, etc. I was scared to death that I would end up with a botched job or pay too much trying to fix a botched job. However, but not without trepidation, I drove to Peal Ridge to get a quote. I met with Allan over the next several weeks and he was patient in answering my questions. As we talked I realized he was actually listening and looking for the best way to satisfy what I was looking for. On the first visit, he gave me at least a half dozen options, but he said that perhaps the one that best met what I wanted might be the low end one since I was not planning on keeping the car forever and just really wanted a color change. The next time I came in he sent me to an a small auto parts shop to get the right color match (I had gone to Lowe's and picked the color). Allan also explained that with custom colors, they would mix the paint and put it on a swatch so I could see what it might actually look like. I made two visits to the auto parts shop because they said my Lowe's paint chip might look different since the auto paint would be high gloss. I went home, put clear nail polish on the chip and returned to make sure it was a match. Then I arranged for a date to get the car painted and Chevante did the color swatch for me...a thumbs up and about a week later I delivered the car to get painted. It took roughly 3 days to have the car sanded and the front bumper taken care of and then the paint. Except for a slight overspray drip mark, the car is beautiful. When we drive it--numerous women ask where we had it done and how to get that color. So just a recommendation: make sure what you expect is what Maaco/Allan can deliver. Ask lots of (stupid) questions. Ask for Allan's advice and consider it seriously. Take your time in making a decision. Not all Maaco's are the same, but I can tell you, that if I ever paint a car again, I would have no worries going back to this Maaco. I could not be happier with the job they did for me! It is absolutely 5-star great! I feel like I bought a new car, even if it is only a paint job.

Very Dissatisfied
Initial and final quotes did not match and double talk started. After job windshield washer mounted to hood appeared clogged. Arranged 2 times to come to have checked. First time with no notice I was turned away because technician supposedly did not com in and I was told to bring it back anytime in a week by the female salesperson. Second time Allen immediately brought me out of the reception area..probably so the other customer would not hear my ossue. He looked at my issue and basically said he could do nothing for me. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to no one!

Amazing paint job on my Ridgeline Truck!
Who knew! I went to Maaco for an estimate to fix a fender bender and for a little more I got my truck painted! Super reasonable and they did a fantastic job! Well worth it!

Great Service
MAACO exceeded my expectations and managed to finish a full body paint in 2 days when I was originally expecting a 4 day job. My truck looked fantastic and I got a great price for the work performed! Allen was very helpful in answering all my questions and took excellent care of my truck.

5 star all the way
Huge thanks to Alan and the whole crew at Maaco Hawaii for doing such an incredible job on my 1961 Ford Econoline. I could not be happier with the outcome. Alan was very involved and communicative during the entire process.

High quality service, professional and friednly
Alan, was a such a great help. Dealing with the insurance company and making sure I get what is owed to me. Getting into an accident is never an easy situation to deal with. With Alan, he made the process as easy for me as possible.

Great Paint Job
The paint job looked great on my car .... after I got over the sticker shock of the total price. My car didn't need a lot of body work (so I thought) and it ended up costing 3 times more than the paint job alone. When I picked up my car (on a Friday), they informed me that my spoiler had to be repainted because it bubbled and I should come back on Monday to pick it up. I arrived Monday and it wasn't ready. They should have called me before so I didn't waste a trip. They told me it would be ready Tuesday - it wasn't. They finally called me late in the afternoon on Wednesday to let me know it was ready. I picked it up on Thursday- and it looked good.

Old Blue
I was extremely impressed by the results from Maaco. For one, they are the only place that I could find on the Island that would paint an entire vehicle. My truck got into an accident and other places could not/would not paint the truck beyond the damaged areas. The paint job came out better than I had hoped. For example, the dings that we agreed to fix especially on the passenger door makes the door look brand new. There were some dings that are now more visible that I had neglected to point them out during the estimation process. I was not charged though for dings that were not repaired. However, again, the paint job is amazing for a 24 year old vehicle and the price was reasonable. I do not feel I was talked into anything more than I needed. Everything Alan suggested was exactly as he had promised. My feedback would therefore be: 1) before you bring your vehicle in, make sure you mark all the dings you want repaired 2) there were some minor miscommunication with when to bring my vehicle in and when to pick it up, when there were delays, etc. If Maaco could perhaps text customers updates a little better that would be great. 3) I know that they are busy, but email responses would be helpful too I have used them in the past and will use them again.
