Just had my 1999 Honda CRV painted, and I was practically in tears when I picked it up!!! My car looked Brand New!! Maaco did an awesome job restoring my RED vehicle to it's original form. They took care of the rust, dents, scratches, and even painted my windshield wipers for me. The staff was very professional, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend Santa Maria Maaco!!

Excellent service within budget
This is the second time I have used Maaco in Santa Maria. They treated me fairly and did a great job, so I always referred my friends. That's why I took my vehicle to them to repair and paint another car after my insurance considered it a total loss. Got all the body work and paint done for a way less than the insurance paid me. Now, I won't go anywhere else.

Told them I wanted car painted I could not find my coupon he said it does not matter he will give ma a good deal.he ran his hands over sides and back of car asked if I wanted a dent on drivers side out said only one on hood.there was no scratch on dent or area of dent.the estimate was for painting car and dent. brought car back next day May 11 - 16 said maybe sat.waited for him to call. called May 17-16 we drove in looked at car and it was not painted. asked why he said we talked about it you only wanted the one fourth of the hood painted I told him he was a lier. he said we talked about it twice and that was not true. I said I wanted all my car painted and told him so.The morning I brought the car in he reached over the counter grabbed the estimate paper out of my hand and threw it in trash saying you won't need that.that one I read at home it was right.the new one we did not read as we thought we could trust them. Patrick just had surgery on both eyes and I am having surgery on mine in two weeks so we can not read well.Patrick when signing to get our keys back he asked why he had to sign and what it said the guy said its says that you are picking up your car - not true. It says I have inspected my vehicle and am satisfied this shop completed the services. Its like a slap in the face. When I talked to the guy he said we can stand here talking all day it will not change anything. Let me make it clear this was not a misunderstanding. No, would not recommend this shop to anyone.I have had four cars painted in Fresno by Maaco loved the job they did so it is not all Maaco shops.
Response from Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
I gathered all information from our office surveillance camera before replying back. May-11-16 @3: 17 we gave a printed copy of our estimate to the customer for the total of $312.37 ($225 for spot paint + $65 for body work + $8 for material + $7.00 for Haz. Fee + $7.37 for tax). (Our least expensive complete paint job starts from $399.95.) May-12-16 @8:47 customer came back with the printed estimate copy (which we gave her on May11-16) with the purpose of leaving her car so we can work on it. It's our everyday practice, once a customer is ready to drop-off vehicle we change estimate to final repair order by adding current mileage and paint code in it and that Is exactly what we did. It clearly shows in camera sales person matching estimate total with repair total, and they both have to match until unless there's some additional work added or subtracted from the actual estimate. We always gave a copy of final repair order to the customer & we did the same in this case as well. May12-16 we took the vehicle in and May-17-16 we delivered it back to the customer. Customer had that repair order with them for 5 days. We charged the customer for a spot job (not overall paint) and that's exactly what we worked for. Our complete paint job starts from $399.95 for paint only customer paid $225.00 to paint and now the complaint is why we didn't paint the whole car for $225.00. (The simple answer is that's not even our cost). We have a note on our wall stating Please Read your Repair Order before signing. Things to notice that it's better for us to do a complete paint job because it brings more sales in business. Why we intentionally going to bring our sales down and do a spot paint instead of complete paint job.

Friendly Staff with Excellent Repair Results
The hood of my pick up truck flown back against the body of the vehicle while driving on the highway, which resulted in a major damage to the hood and some minor damage to the body of the vehicle. I brought in my pick up truck to have the hood repaired or replaced. They shopped around for me to save me $ and to get me the best hood including all the needed joints and installed it and made sure to perfectly match the paint. Unlike many other body shops, the guys at Maaco 's priority is to give the customer a pleasant experience. This was my second time where I have used their services on my vehicle and the results were always a positive and a happy experience.
