They destroyed my furniture! After calling Sydney to express my concerns about their performance, they dropped my dresser from the truck on the concrete driveway and it was completely destroyed since the truck is very high. I've been trying to get in touch with him regarding the damaged dresser but he does not respond to me. Movers appeared to be inexperienced and not focused on the job. They did not have the proper tools and did not know what to do. They were shown the house before they started but still could not find their way to the rooms that had furniture. They attempted to lift the fridge from the front where there's a plastic grille that could break so my husband told them to lift from the sides. I called Sydney to express my concerns but he was unwilling to listen and told me I should call other movers if I don't like their service. Sydney did not try to find out the reason for my concerns or try to speak to the movers. He simpIy said "I'm not there to see it". After my first call, Sydney turned his phone off. Also, we took furniture apart and put it together ourselves.

Do NOT stand behind their promises or their work.
Very disappointed in the Jackson, MS group! Thought I was in good hands. All business to be taken care of was downstairs. One mover continuously running upstairs and "checking things out." ( He went upstairs 4 times on moving day and then once when he came with Sidney to look at ruined items in the back yard.) Sidney's, the President, only excuse " I wasn't aware of that". Tools, clothes and other items were ruined and clothes put outside where they didn't belong. Sidney's excuse " I wasn't aware of that." "What do you want me to do about it?" They put clothes, winter coats and antique quilts in plastic bins outside with no top on it! All were mildewed and molded. Their corrective action was to dump the water in the bin out with the clothes into the mud and gravel in the yard. Then they brought the items back into the house with mud, gravel and the mold and mildew. Why would anyone do what they did? They were NOT instructed to do so. Up to $400 in damages so far and now I am worried about my furniture. There was no offer of remorse, sympathy or offer to make it right. When asked, he was very aloof and uncaring even though he and my daughter went to school together. This group is a bunch of young college guys too immature to be responsible and looking into areas of your home they shouldn't be. Not a pleasant experience. They will NOT be moving my furniture back into my home. I cannot in any way recommend them.

Dallas to Mississippi Move
Sidney and his team did a fantastic job. Very professional and made our move much less stressful. They were very fast, very efficient and know what they are doing. They even carried a 700 pound safe upstairs, I mean man-handled that safe so it would not touch the wooden stairs and risk damaging the stairs. That alone was incredible. I'd strongly recommend you go with McCorquodale Transfer for your next move. I know I will use them again.
