Root Canal Failure Due to Missed Canal
I did wash teeth and several fillings at Moore-Berry Dentistry. It was fairly good. Then I got Root Canal Treatment done by Doctor Berry. After I relocated to another state I felt abnormal in my #4 tooth. X-ray shows there is a root which was missed during root canal causes the issue. So I need re-treatment or implant. That is so annoying not only because the cost of money but also the time. So I contacted with the front desk of Moore-Berry Dentistry. All they said was basically you need to go to a specialist get it redone and the cost is on your own. Because due to the capability of device or something they may miss the canal. Below is something what I found and just my two cents: 1, The most common reason for root canal failure is untreated anatomy in the form of missed canals. Our general understanding of tooth anatomy should lead the practitioner to be able to find all the canals. For example, some teeth will have two canals 95% of the time, which means that if only one canal is found, then the practitioner better search diligently to find the second canal; not treating a canal in a case where it is present 95% of the time is purely unacceptable. 2, Doing a root canal without a microscope greatly reduces the chances of treating the often difficult to find MB2 canal. Also, not having the right equipment makes finding this canal difficult. Not treating this canal often leads to persistent symptoms and latent (long-term) failure of the root canal. Using cone beam (CBCT) 3-dimensional radiographic imaging, greatly assists in identifying the presence of this canal. In addition, when a patient presents for evaluation of a failing root canal, the CBCT is invaluable in helping us to definitively diagnose a missed canal. 3, The bottom line is that canals should not be missed because technology exists that allows us to identify and locate their presence. If a practitioner is performing endodontic (root canal) treatment, he or she needs to have the proper equipment to treat the full anatomy present in a tooth. Although getting a root canal from an endodontist may be slightly more expensive than getting one from a general dentist, there is a greater chance of savings in the long-term value of treating it right the first time. So, next time any patient may need root canal, please go to endodontist, DO NOT do it with general dentist. They will tell you missing a canal is not their fault due to they not have the devices or something. Joel Liu

High quality service and very friendly
Called this morning as a new patient with horrible toothache. They made time for me at 9:30. Diagnosis root canal! So lucky that Dr Berry and his staff made time to do it right then and there! He was just great with explaining the procedure and my fear of the pain. By far the best experience I have had at The dentist office. He really is a caring doctor! Now let's move on to his amazing staff!! It's definitely a family ran office literally and figuratively! Very friendly not rushing anyone and working hard to accommodate patients (even getting my little guy a sweet spot to watch a program and water. He got drug along because this was definitely not a scheduled appt.) Great experience today. Moore-Berry Denistry just received 6 new patients for life!

Very friendly, gentle cleaning, personable, great facility
This was my first appointment at Moore Dentistry and it was a very good experience! I was greeted promptly by the front desk personnel and called back on time after filling out a bit of paperwork (most of which was already populated - which was nice and unusual!). My cleaning was very thorough, but gentle, including the bite-wing x-rays. The hygienist was very sweet and friendly and Dr. Josh was equally nice and made me feel very at ease. A great dental experience. Thank you!

Amazing professional and caring staff!
What a wonderdul group of professionals! From the time I walked into the door to the time I left everyone was very welcoming, kind, and understanding. Dr. Moore took the time with me to prepare a plan for dental treatment and was very thorough. He was so friendly and easy to talk with. As a dental professional myself, I have been searching for an office that utilizes infection control protocol properly and also has a great staff. This office has it all, and I'm so happy I found such a great place for my care.

Best Dentist in Fishers
Over past 30 years that we have lived in Fishers, we've used a total of 4 different dentists, and Dr. Brent Moore of Moore Dentistry is by far the best and only dentist we will be using going forward, hands down. He has been our family dentist for my wife, three kids, and I for the past 5 years. They use the latest technologies, are conservative in their recommendations (no root canal, crown, or pulled tooth, unless you absolutely need it), and the whole team is friendly.
