Hey there...greetings from Atlanta, Ga. I enjoyed my visit to Pelham Family Dental Arts. All staff members were professional and courteous with me. Treatment was professionally done and I felt comfortable during my exam and cleaning. So, I will definitely travel from Atlanta again to Pelham Family Dental Arts for dental services. I always feel more educated after services at Pelham and always leave wanting to apply the knowledge gained during my visit to ensure proper upkeep of my teeth.

Dr. Ida was very accommodating and explained everything to me step by step. She also gave me multiple options considering different costs associated with each possible solution/procedure for my dental care.

Dr Vaiman listens, first of all. Then we talked alternative treatments and decided on the best one.

The cleaning was fine. I've never had any issues with the dental treatments.. However I did not find the administrative portion of my visit to be a good experience. Whenever I've seen a medical or dental professional in the past, they have checked my insurance to let me know if there was anything wrong with my insurance BEFORE services were rendered. I found it wholly inappropriate for me to see the doctor if it was known before the visit that my insurance needed to be updated. I'm sure there are many people who do not like to have a surprise bill of $800 at the end of a visit!! I'm not sure if they have new administrative staff but I truly believe they need to inform patients about insurance ineligibility PRIOR to rendering services so patients can choose to reschedule until the insurance issues are cleared up.

My hygienist is really cool. I also felt confident in her experience and high quality of work.
