When I initially contacted Pilkington Immigration Law Firm I spoke with a lawyer who told me it was just a matter of paperwork because I am born to American parents. I had tried before and was told that because of my birth year my father was required to have spent 5 more years in the country. When I told the lawyer this, he said it was not an issue and that it would go ahead without problem. So I paid the $2,100 fee, only to be told MONTHS later that I was right and that I was not eligible for citizenship as I had said in the first place. Now it is October and I am STILL waiting for a refund, which they have taken $300 off of for 'services' that include forwarding an email and speaking on the phone for a grand total of 7 minutes. This firm is a joke.
