NASTY!!!!!!!!!! 0stars
Do not purchase a groupon for this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You won't even be able to try the services before you are bombarded at the door by a pushy sales person trying to sell you a membership!! After 30 minutes I finally told Shelby I just wanted to try the services and Ill decide about purchasing any membership later. I was eery as I saw 4 people change rooms without them being cleaned or sanitized for the new user, but continued anyway. After my session, I decided to try a membership, and was told that if I didn't like services I would be able to cancel with a 30 day notice. I was ok with that and left. After 2 weeks of using the facility, I started to break out in rash and hives. I already have medical issues due to an accident and wanted to use the services to help better my health for my upcoming surgery. So I started my cancellation process by contacting the company via phone and speaking with the young lady telling her that I was no longer interested in there membership and that I wanted to cancel services ASAP as I broke out in hives/rash. She proceeded to tell me that I couldn't cancel the service as I had to give a 30 day notice. I explained to her again the situation and what had happened, but with no regards to my experience or problems encountered she proceedded to tell me that I couldnt cancel and that my card will be continue to be chargewd. I explained to her that I was going to cancel my card, and that they could not take money without my aiuthorization. Again she said, I signed a contract and that I coudn't cancel. I told her one last time I was cancelling, and hung up. I followed up with an email stating that I wanted to cancel and was notifying my bank. 3 weeks later, Shelby contacted me ( pushy sales women from day 1), stating that they couldn't charge my card. I told her of course you can't because I cancelled and because I blocked my card. I also asked her to please not bother me anymore, as I no longer wanted any affilitation with their company. I thought this was over until I got a charge on my card that they pushed through. I then called my bank and filed another dispute , blocked the merchant and card, to get another harrasing phone call at the beginning of May stating that they couldn't charge my card again! This time I was livid!!!! HOW ARE YOU FRAUDULENTLY CHARGING MY CARD ILLEGALLY???? So again, I filed another dispute for now an $80 charge (before it was $60 charge) to get this resolved. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I CAN'T SAY YOU'LL EXPERIENCE THE SAME PROBLEMS, BUT THIS IS REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS!!!

Ms. Shoemaker you willingly decided to become a member with Planet Beach. I'm sure you must have enjoyed the services and the value of becoming a member or you wouldn't have enrolled into one of our wonderful unlimited service programs. You choose our post popular program the allows you access to all of our spa services and tanning services for only $59 per month. This program does have a 5 payment commitment and then requires a 30 day notice cancel. When you wished to cancel after only a few weeks we reminded you that the plan you choose required a minimum of 5 payments before you could cancel. We do have shorter term packages but they are more expensive, In your case we were allowing you to terminate early, and just pay the difference for all the services you had already used and to complete the cancellation form required in your agreement. This would be the same price as if you were to just come in and buy them ala carte. At this point you threatened to go to social media and give us bad reviews if we didn't cancel you immediately. We reiterated that this is a business, you had used more than 20 services and we felt the offer we had made was more than fair. Time had passed and we have received no response, your membership was still active and there was a balance due on your account. your credit card was declined several times for insufficient funds, each time we did reach out to you in attempt to resolve your account. You never responded and eventually your credit card process. Same result for the next charge except there was a $25 late charge added per your agreement. Again we made multiple attempts to contact you and received no response. As far as cleanliness, we are always complimented on the cleanliness of our location. Every room is cleaned with a hospital grade disinfectant after every use. We also have company come in twice per year to treat each room with antimicrobial because cleanliness is very important to us. Your account is still unresolved, please give us a call to close out your account. Thank you, have a great day.

Terrible service, Poor cleanliness, Cancelation problems, Unauthorized charges
0 stars if possible!!!!!! I purchased a groupon for this company and decided to go in and try it. As I walked in the door and BEFORE I had even tried services I was being sold a membership. 1st of all I like to try the services before I'm pressured into buying any kind of memberships and 2nd, the cleanliness at this club had some serious issues. I think The biggest thing that got me was as I was being sold this membership not once did the lady stop to go clean the rooms before other clients switched rooms for different services, and as I was being sold this membership for 30 minutes clients were walking into other rooms to receive other treatments but the rooms were not sanitized before they went in them. After finally telling Shelby that I would like to try the services before I got into any kind of membership I went back did my 3 services that were offered in my groupon. I decided to purchase the membership just to try it out but after about 3 weeks of going I started breaking out in hives or rash. According to their contract if you purchase a membership you have to cancel 1 month ahead of time before they charge. I didn't have a month before the next payment because again I started breaking out in hives or a rash. After breaking out I decided I no longer wanted To continue with this club as I felt that there was Definately health and cleanliness issues. Per the contract that I signed you're supposed to cancel a month in advance but due to the circumstances I felt that the company would understand so I wrote a very detailed email requesting to cancel services and the reason why. I got a phone call from a young lady in the office stating that they will not cancel my membership because I am not giving the one month in advance and that they were still going to charge my card and I explained again in detail what was happening and after explaining several times still getting no Empathy in regards to the issue she continued to tell me that they were going to charge my card and get my money since i didn't cancel within the 30 days. By this time they Attempted to take 2 payments which were Unauthorized because I put a stop on my card. So at this point I contacted my bank stopped my card, and notified Planet Beach of the charges that they charged were unauthorized and i disputed got my money back-and lo and behold even after I've done everything to a tea as far as giving them the written notice disputed it with my bank they are still attempting to charge my card and calling me for the payment. This company is a fradulent company there is no reason why they should keep charging a person's card once they have clearly stated they no longer want services there are cleanliness issues at this location I'm not sure if the girls are not trained properly or if they're just too busy trying to sell the memberships or be lazy and gossip, but something has to be done and they need to know and understand that charging people's cards or checking accounts without their authorization after they have canceled is illegal and is being reported

Top notch service and beautiful location
Loved every minute of my experience here. Girls were very friendly and helpful! Spa services were relaxing and I felt very comfortable. I especially like that they offer red light therapy here and my spray tan always turns out great.
