Very disappointed and will be finding a new Dentist asap.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Chauhdry since we moved to Texas in November. We have both referred patients to him because we thought highly of him. Today I went in because my temp for my implant came out. I thought I had paid for the majority of the implant already from what other front office gals had said, but I guess not. It is what it is though. I have excellent insurance and even with that they only covered half of putting the implant in. My patient portion was $700. I told the lady that I didn’t have $700 on me as I was not expecting such a high bill. She said “oh then I will tell the dr you can’t the implant done”. She couldn’t have cared less. She came back and asked if I could pay in two payments. One half today and the other in 30 days. I said yes. She said she had to keep my credit card on file for 30 days and then they would charge it. I told her that I wasn’t not sure what which credit card I wasn’t going to use in 30 days and asked if she could call me in 30 days and I would give her the cc. She said no. That was not possible. I told her that if she could not bother to call me in 30 days to get my cc then I wasn’t going to do it. She said “ok fine I will tell the dr.” She went and spoke to him and came back and said no, if I don’t leave my cc then he won’t finish my implant. That spoke volumes to me. $345 is more important than his patients. We have paid thousands to him already and never had an issue. We will never go back there and I urge anyone who goes to double check their own insurance for what they charge and keep in mind your money is worth more than your health, being a good patient, and referrals.

Dear Mary, this is Dr. Chaudhry responding to your message. I checked with Jaimi (Our front desk) regarding this. She stated that you called and asked for an appointment because the temporary crown on your implant broke off, she asked you to come on Saturday(08/18). when you came and spoke with me I advised you to have the permanent restoration on the implant since it has been almost 8 months for your implant, you agreed. I asked Jaimi to get the paperwork started. She said that you got upset when you saw that your insurance was covering only 50% of the required treatment, she tried to work with you and offered an in-house payment option, based completely on our office policy but you declined to accept/proceed with it. She asked you if she can schedule you later to come back for your permanent crown impression but you declined that as well. I'm sorry that you feel this way but my team and I are committed to providing best quality patient care for all our patients, including you! That's the reason why I fixed your temporary crown without any fee to you or your insurance because I care about my patients, I did not want you to go back to your work on Monday without a tooth in your smile line. Its not all about the money, its about following the office policies, these policies are in place to make us available for our patients more. I hope you understand Mary! Dr. Faysal Chaudhry

Excellent dental care and high quality service

Thanks for Seeing Us So Quickly
I had a sleepless night because of a bad tooth. Dr. Chaudhry and his staff got me in the same day. He not only told me, he showed me what was wrong. Thanks for seeing us so ugrently and caring for our family.

I have been coming coming to Prestonbrook for years. The staff are really friendly and very professional. I had recommended my family and friends. What I like the most is after I have my cleaning done, I can see and feel the difference right away.
