Installation of gas fireplace
I called to see if I could get a gas fireplace installed in my basement as emergency heat. He didn't give me a quote that said typically it will run about $300 parts and labor. This was in September of 20 17, came out and did good work, but I didn't get a bill until February of 2018 for $500. Won't explain why it took over five man hours to install a flexible gas line from my furnace main line to my fireplace about four feet away.

Find Another Place
Took a window air conditioner in to determine why it would only blow warm air. Was called several weeks later and told it couldnt be repaired and to come get it. I arrived and was presented with a bill for $36.66 for labor and parts. I asked to see where the part was installed (since I paid for it right?) and the person said she had no idea and if I wanted to wait around for someone else then maybe they could help. Really? I was never informed of a cost to look at it. Shouldnt that be something mentioned? And....shouldnt they have either a posted amount or hourly rate? Go elsewhere.
