Great service and could perform services that other alignment shops can't
Will refer anyone that is looking for great service and a can do business model for sure! I took my 1967 Dodge Dart in for alignment to another shop and they could not do it due to low hanging headers. Took it to Scmunks and no problem! They have a flat drive on truck alignent rack that worked perfect! And were able to align my old girl even though computer systems don't go back to the 60s and 70s. The staff is awesome, friendly, and they worked me into the schedule without a appointment. Anyone with a hot rod needs to go here. No need to go all the way into Eugene! The alignment tech Kevin has 25 years of experience and it shows! Will be back when my daily driver needs tires.

Excellent Service
Than you Corey for getting me the best deal on the tires I was looking for. All the people here were very nice and the wait was short. Highly recommend Schmunks.

Unprofessional. Unqualified. Creepy Staff. Scam
I made an appointment in advance for auto work. I came in for auto service on Wednesday September 14, 2016 (afternoon). I had a fluid leak coming from the engine area of my SUV. I was under the assumption that it was affiliated with the radiator. {My father was under the assumption that the radiator would need to be replaced and requested the radiator be replaced}. My first impression of this business establishment was negative. Creepy staff. Especially, a man named "Carl". Talk about making customers {new customers feel very uncomfortable". He will come up to you and stand very close in your personal space and just stare at you without saying anything. Red flag number one. The second red flag, is that this establishment doesn't even do a proper "diagnosis" of you vehicle before doing repair work to actually "diagnose" what the problem is. If there is even a problem. Third red flag. "Carl" informed me that he had customers come in for service work prior in the week with a radiator problem and "charged" the couple to "replace" a radiator. The couple had a "fluid leak". They replaced the radiator for the couple and the couple came back after with the same "fluid leak" and it was a hose that needed to be "replaced" or something like that. To tell customers that you "misdiagnosed" auto repair service work is not just "unprofessional" but ignorant. Immediately, I was concerned because that tells me, "a new customer", with a similar problem, that you don't know what your doing. Are you people even "certified" mechanics?! Based on my experience, "NO" you are not. "Carl" who inspected our vehicle, came into the waiting room, and informed myself and my family member that it was a broken "clamp" on the hose to the radiator causing the leak. He informed myself and my family member that the radiator did not need to be "replaced", We took his word for it. So, we decided to have them do a "flush" for $89.00. They did the flush. I noticed that these people who are being paid by the hour for service work, slack off a lot. Your paying a lot of money for service work and they spend more time slacking off that doing the actual repair work. That customers are paying for by the hour. "carl" was in the waiting room chit chatting about a car he owned back in the day for quite sometime instead of fixing our vehicle. I could care less about your car story. I was there for auto service. "Carl" informed me not to freak out if I still saw fluid leaking after the service work was finished. It would be excess fluid and it would dry up in a day. I took his word for it. On Thursday, September 15, 2016, I noticed the fluid was back again. A big puddle. I came back on Friday, September 16, 2016, for service work again. Once again, "Carl" came up and informed me that the radiator should of been "replaced". At this point, I had already reached the conclusion that this man "Carl" was a screw up and this establishment was "shady". There was no leak this morning under my SUV and when I got home there was no leak either. Carl was now informing me that the radiator needed to be replaced. It was going to be over $200 labor fees and plus the radiator fee and the total would of been over $460 dollars. I wanted an exact estimate for the total cost of repair plus labor. "Carl" walked up to me while I was standing there waiting and once again stepped up into my personal space, making me feel very uncomfortable and just stared at me without saying anything and I was so mad, I said what is the cost of repair work?! They scheduled me for Tuesday. I am not having anymore auto service work done down here. I'm taking my vehicle up to Portland to have real "certified" mechanics work on it. I should also mention that when they wanted to schedule my appointment for Tuesday to replace the radiator, "Carl" did not want myself and my family member to sit and wait for the repair work to be done. He actually thought that I would leave my vehicle unattended with him as shady and crooked as this staff and establishment is. No way. You can cancel the appointment. Your not touching my vehicle. We won't be returning ever again. I would not come here for auto service work. Trust me, pay the money and have professional and "certified" mechanics work on your vehicle. You may end up spending more money and having more problems that you originally came in with

Schmuncks tire center WOW!!
I love Schmunks Tire and service center I visited the friendly well oiled shop a few months ago. I love going in and always getting to see the same faces so I never have to worry about anything because the technicians usually know me by name and greet me as a friend. I especially loved my last visit a gentleman named Devin put on my new tires and did my oil change quicker then just my oil change usually takes maybe he has the age advantage he was polite professional and like I said very quick which was the best part because I was in a hurry that day to get to an appointment so I was skeptical to come in so soon but in just a half hour that handsome young man had me on my way with a smile I cant wait to see that boy again he puts a smile on my face and he is the best employee there in my opinion they better hold on to him. He told me some history about the shop and told me all about Dan and how he idolized him as a fatherly figure and says he loves his job so not one day is work to him what passion all this in 30 minutes les Schwab's never made me feel welcome like Schmunks I will be a customer for life Thank you for you're great quick service Devin is the tech you want to request.
