I come in every 6 months to have my teeth cleaned and I like having the same hygienist (not sure of spelling) every time. I feel like she knows my mouth and how to treat it.

Happiness is what this office is about! I'm always welcomed and it feels like family. I've been coming here for over 15 years because the patient care is excellent.

Kim teased me and told me to put on my big girl panties to have a crown re-cemented without anesthesia. She also advised me that the first bit of sensitivity was the worst, and it was fleeting. I literally practiced blowing (sucking)(?) cold air over my tooth before going in to have the crown cemented and learned that yes, it was fleeting, and yes, I could "practice" tolerating the pain, and yes, it diminshed with "practice". My greatest anxiety comes from anticipating the discomfort. Because I could practice the discomfort I knew what to expect, and it was not nearly as awful as I had made it in my mind. Because she knew I am very jumpy, she didn't blow cold air on my tooth prior to cementing the crown, but dried the tooth with cotton instead. She was very skillful and her sense of humor was greatly appreciated. I never DREAMED I could have ANY procedure without anesthesia. I'm glad she coached me through this because otherwise I would have had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment with anesthesia -- and I saved at LEAST $100 by forgoing the anesthesia.
