Without AC for 7 Days now....
We have a home warranty company who referred us to this business. A technician came to our house on Monday (AC went out late Saturday), as that was the earliest we could get them to diagnose the issue. He said we needed a new evaporator coil, and he'd contact the warranty company to verify the next step. We have been calling every day since then, because the warranty company claimed T&S was supposed to order the part. We also called the warranty company daily, because T&S claimed the warranty company was supposed to order the part. In the meantime, temperatures here in Houston top out in the mid 90s, and cool to 70s at night. T&S gave us a date of Monday to install the part. That will be 9 days with no escape from the heat. I would not recommend this company or our warranty company (Total Protect). Both have disappointed us.

Avoid at all cost
Just a horrible company/experience. Our tech showed up over an hour late and reeked of weed. He spent all of 5 mins before he determined that the cause of our AC failure was dirty clogged coils. Course this was without opening the upstairs unit completely or hooking up to the outside unit to check the freon. This was for our home warranty company. Next they could get the pictures to our company because they didnt understand that their free email had a size restriction, so they wasted another 24 hours till I pointed out what the error message ment. They blamed our home warranty company while we wilted in 90 degree weather. Long story short we had another company come out and check it out. The coils were not dirty and clogged as there original diagnosis and our unit was a pound low on freon. The home warranty company sent another company out to confirm the second companies findings and refunded our intitial payment to T&S. Basicly we suffered a week for no other reason than T&S either choose not to do their job or did not have the skills to be able to do their job. Avoid them like the plague.

Never do business with these people
The tech showed up an hour late and reeked of weed. The tech spent 10 minutes looking at the outside and inside unit, taking pictures to submit to my warranty company. T & S took 24 hours getting the pictures to the home warranty company because they were using a free email service that limited the size of the files being sent. I was able to discover this by looking at the return error message they were receiving, while they sat back and assumed it was being blocked on the warranty company's side. Once the pictures and report was received my AC claim was denied because T & S had claimed that the coils were caked in dirt and needed to be cleaned. I contacted Spring Woodlands Air Technicians (281-705-6401) who were able to get a tech out to my house in 20 minutes. The tech spent 30 minutes checking the system and found that the coils were not dirty at all, the AC unit had a leek and was 3LBS low on Freon. T&S Comfort Specialist is a Micky Mouse AC company at best with techs that do not do their job, do not show up on time and lie to get you to have to purchase items that they can bill for that are not under warranty. Avoid them like the plague.
