Poor customer focus
Buyer beware! My wife had a crown come off. We tried to make an appointment for her to come in, but WCCD was not able to schedule her in for three weeks without her having to take off work. It may be easy for Dr. Mikhail to believe that my wife should then simply take off work, but she works in the cardio IC unit at a major hospital. The need of the patients in her unit makes simply taking time off not so simple. Yesterday, Dr. Mikhail was rather indignant and gave my wife a lot of attitude over the three-week delay for the appointment after the failure of the crown. This is 180° out of phase! Instead of giving attitude, Dr. Mikhail should have been apologetic that HER office was not able to make an accommodation for three weeks. Dr. Mikhail made a half-hearted attempt to put the old crown in place and then proclaimed that it was simply not usable and a new crown will have to be made. She also said that since this is not a new crown but a replacement, it is not likely that the insurance company will pay for the new crown. Because of this, Dr. Mikhail told my wife that we would have to make payments up front and was wanting $800 immediately upon our being notified of all of this. We decided to try another dentist whom my son has been raving about. This dentist was able to get my wife in today (not three weeks later). This office put the existing crown in with no problem for a total of $55 out of pocket! Over $1000 vs. $55... As I said, Buyer Beware!

The staff was very welcoming. My hygienist was explanatory and as gentle as possible. The dentists were nice and honest about the treatment needed and the costs associated with it.

From the moment I entered the office I felt right at home. The doctors, staff, and general atmosphere are comforting to me in something (going to the dentist) I traditionally dislike doing. Good peoples.
