We had our kitchen/entry/hallways/washroom/dining area floor replaced end of July. On the last day of the job, I ran into one of the employees. He told me it was his last day on the job and complained about the company & how he was so excited to be quitting…I immediately felt like this was going to come back to haunt me. Sure enough, within a few days after the project was completed, we noticed the trim was falling off under the cupboards in the kitchen. There was even a part completely missing. We finally called after the third piece of trim fell off. Someone came out and replaced it while I was at work (my dad was there baby sitting) so my dad told the guy that came there was more trim missing. He said he would give me a call to come back because he didn’t have the necessary parts with him. Never got a call back. As time goes on (3.5 months later) we’ve noticed the trim is bowing away from the wall in multiple places, one trim fell completely off again, there’s a nail sticking through the floor in our entry way, some of our slats of floor seem to be uneven when walking on them & when the guy left, he switched our bathroom door & closet door, so we ended up having to switch those out too. I was so happy with this company getting on our project so quickly, but it’s been a few months and we’ve already had so many issues. I’m nervous to see what the flooring will look like in a year, 5 years, etc… I have several pictures of these issues but no place to upload them here. I’m just disappointed we weren’t taken better care of. We should not be having so many problems with our brand new flooring & trim work after only a few months.

Mark called me to see if he could come do the job a little later than what he was scheduled for because of the weather. When he showed up he got the job for me by replacing one of my doors on the outside and trim around the other door. I give this company a 5 star rating.

Barry arrived at our home on time and was very professional and friendly. He took time to assess the situation according to the conditions and made sound decisions to successfully complete the work according to the quote from Sue. He kept me well informed along the way and asked the right questions before moving forward. I would highly recommend Barry / Ace Handyman for anyone needing their satellite dish removed from their home roof.

Robert was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. He completed several smaller projects for us. I would ask for him the next time.

Barry was excellent. He fixed all of our holes, old seams, and protruding nails in the walls and ceiling of our garage. He shored up the ceiling seams with 1x2s and then spent an entire day painting the entire interior of our garage. It looks so nice! Barry was professional and polite all three days he was here. He cleaned up after himself each day before he went home. He has done several garages in our neighborhood and everyone is so pleased with his work.

You should try to schedule multiple appointments in one area and keep in mind road construction.

Robert was terrific in completing several small repairs for us. Very knowledgeable and resourceful, on time and cleaned up after. Terrific; I will ask for him again.

Although the quality of the service was excellent scheduling was not so great. No one came to do an estimate. As a result it took much longer and the bill was literally 3 times more than what I was quoted over the phone. I would strongly recommend a review of scheduling protocols to avoid “ surprises “. Good thing I had money in my savings to cover it. The star rating is for Robert and Barry
