Unbelievably positive experience!
We’ve had a fantastic experience with Kingston's BathFitter. Six years ago, we bought a tube insert from the Kingston office. It was quickly and professionally installed, looked fabulous. We were delighted. But, alas, within a year or so yellow stains began to appear. Nothing could be done back then short of replacing the unit. I decided not to do that and have lived, unhappily, with the discoloured uni until a week ago. For reasons I no longer remember I came across the customer review section of the NATIONAL BathFitter site. I wrote a note about our experience with discolouration. Within days, I had a call from our local BathFitter office. The national office had seen my comment, contacted Kingston, Kingston looked into their records, found a detailed account of what had happened years ago and called me right away. It's now known that certain essesntial oils (which I use) and some epsom salts (which I also use) can cause a chemical reaction with the acrylic that leads to discolouring the insert. Although our warranty had long expired and the cost of buying and installing a new insert had increased over the last more than six years, BathFitter has just installed a new insert for us: the national office provided the insert free, the local office installed it at half price. The unusual generosity of the response to our situation speaks for itself. And everything was done with amazing efficiency, completely professionally, and in the best of spirits - no fuss, no muss, no bother. I can’t remember another experience with any business of any kind that has matched this one. I now have a gleaming new tub AND up to date information about how to take proper care of it. No more essential oils – that’s for sure. I can’t recommend BathFitter highly enough and our Kingston branch is absolutely unbeatable.

not finishing a leak
i wrote a review 4 months ago, so hear is a follow up. Dick and Jeremy did a good job installing the new tub, however a leak was discovered, which led to water coming through the kitchen ceiling. after numerous calls to bath fitters ( kingston on.) the salesman came end patched the hole, with a bit of mud, and left it like that. that was about six to eight weeks ago, never returned to finish the job, haven't heard anything since, so terrible customer service. and whenever i called about the problem, seemed like i was putting them out. take ur money and run. don't call back, i'll finish it. Above and Beyond Expectations
Today Dick and Pat finished a two day bathroom reno in which they removed our old bathtub and replaced it with a stunning walk-in shower with glass doors. They were prompt each day and took all the time we demanded to answer questions and explain what they were doing. We left them alone to complete the install because we had another appointment. When we returned the job was done and the cleanup was spotless. This is a small bathroom but we were amazed and pleased at how much it opened up the space and made it feel much roomier. We had our bathroom remodeled with a new bath and walls. Dick and Jeremy were our installers and they did an excellent job. They were polite and thorough and informed us what they were doing along the way. We were very pleased with the outcome.
