Two different shower installations
We had the Lenexa Bath Fitter complete two different installations. One was a shower surround around our our tub done in early 2017. We did not replace the tub. The second was done in a step in shower in the middle of December 2017. The product used in the installation appears to be of very high quality. The issues you will confront is the follow-up after the order from customer service, or should I say lack thereof. Apparently, management changed between our two installations and there was a significant price increase. We had been told by the previous general manager that we would receive a significant discount if we purchased the second shower install. We negotiated a discount with our salesperson, but not what we had been told. The down payment amount increased from 10% to 25% between the dates of our transactions. Once they ran my credit card, we did not hear from them as we had been told the process notifications by the salesman. We did receive a call to schedule the installations. The installer for the first installation was very neat and kept everything very clean. We had been told the time of his arrival but he did not show up when indicated and we had to call Bath Filler's to find out where he was and what time he would arrive. No notification by them. On the second installation, we encountered the same problem. We were told when the installer would arrive, but no show. We called and were given a another time, however the installer ended up being just short of three hours late. He did finish the job in one day leaving in the early evening but created so much dust with the plumbing install removing tile, my wife and I had to completely wash down the walls and all other surfaces. Customer service or installation scheduling will not be proactive in notifying you of when the product has arrived not Lenexa, they will give you an installation time, but it will probably not be close to correct and they will not notify you, nor will the installer that he is running late. When you follow-up and contact the office, they will provide another time, but again, it probably will not be correct. Very frustrated customer.
