I have been a member for over a year. Today I was charge $50.00 for no reason. A few months back, I was charged for being a no show I was present for my appointment - just running a few minutes late. I’m also aware of others being accidentally over charged too. My question is I then management team, why does keep happenin? My membership is draft out of my checking account every month - like clock work. The additional charges are completely unacceptable. Management, please post all the additional charges that clients could possibly incur in addition to membership - for everyone to view. Not posting additional cost is not good business. With all the flood members in Kingwood, who still have copies of signed membership paperwork - over a year later. Please consider the request so clients have some idea of why you are over charging.

Irma at Massage Heights is excellent. However, when I went in to get my first massage, I was going in for a massage in lieu of pain meds. I suffer chronic pain after being hit by a drunk driver in 2002, which left me with herniated discs in three areas of my back. I am seeing a doctor over at The Joint for chiropractics, who referred me over to Massage Heights. The consequences coming down on doctors prescribing pain meds to the point of addiction leave doctors wary of prescribing to those who need it and have not shown a history of abuse, which led me to seek going under the knife for surgery, but insurance has denied covering me getting updated MRI's for the surgeons. This leads me to consider massage and I went in at a time when I was in a great amount of pain. The first gentlemen I saw was light handed and afraid to hurt me given my situation, but he told me about Irma who has training in medical massage. While she does not offer this service here, she is trained and I was sure there was no chance of her being cautious. I needed deep tissue massage as pain had me so bound up. I remember I was in so much pain I could not sit in the waiting room. When the massage was over I asked for my next appointment to be with Irma and the assistant at the from desk asked me to commit to a membership plan. At not one point in this conversation was I told that I was committing to 12 months. I would never have agreed not knowing whether this would be a good solution in for pain management. There was one other solution, genuine medical massage that my husband received after a softball injury, while expensive, I thought I would give Irma a chance first. I'm only learning today after calling to cancel my membership that there were other options. According to some internet sources, there are 3-6-9 and 12 month options. Likely had I been given one, I would have chosen one on a temporary basis to find if massage was beneficial. I called to cancel today because I have five children whom I homeschool and last month I had to cancel my appointment 2 or three different times because of lack of a babysitter. I felt I was wasting my husband's paycheck, spending it with no benefit to the family. I thought I was doing a good thing, only to find that a 12 month contract was placed in front of me with only the massage time options given, but not monthly membership options given. I asked and was told verbally that I could cancel anytime, just like The Joint, with a months notice. In addition, when I told the lady at the desk that I wanted to cancel because I never made it in the month before, she did not tell me about the rolled over credits, that other people are talking about in these reviews.

I've been a member since the grand opening. For several years my regular therapist has been Janelle. She always does a great job with my neck and back issues. I've had massages from several others here also, and I've always been happy.

I recently had a massage from Arcelia at the Kingwood location. I work as a firefighter and have many back problems. She was great! She paid extra attention to avoid certain areas in my back that are too sensitive. Afterwards, I felt that my back was a lot less sore and tight. This was just what I needed. I would recommend anyone looking for a professional, relaxing massage to see Arcelia! Good work!

I have a subscription to Massage Heights and I am very pleased. In fact my wife and I both have signed up. Our lives are very stressful and these appoiments help us to better manage stress. The staff is professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. Thank you all.

Having a contract with Massage Heights for a monthly massage, I always look forward to my massages with Krishinda. She gives an excellent massage and is friendly and accommodating for my particular needs. In addition, the reception staff is friendly and helpful.
