RIPPING YOU OFF
Bobby Martinez the owner will charge you to breath. He wants $225 dollars to change a single GFI. IF YOU PROVIDE A FIXTURE HE WILL DO NOTHING BUT INSTALL IT HE WILL GIVE YOU ZERO EXPERTISE...BECAUSE HE DIDNT GOUGE YOU TO PROVIDE IT. HE DOES TAKE A VISA CARD...HE WILL TRY TO GET YOU TO PAY BY CHECK THOUGH. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS CO. IT IS A FRANCHISE THAT HE IS WITH. HE SAYS ITS HIS OWN BUSINESS...BULLSHIT...HE BOUGHT HIS LIST OF CLIENTS FROM WILDE ELECTRIC...WHOSE OWNER DIED. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY...HE GOUGED ME GOOD.

We value each and every one of our customers, and we always strive to go above and beyond our customers’ expectations. Regarding your concerns with price, changing a GFI was not a part of your quote or anything you requested. However, we always ask that our customers approve the price before we move forward with any work. When it comes to materials such as light fixtures, we allow customers to have the option to provide their own materials. We cannot warranty customer supplied material, but we do warranty our labor which is why we were more than happy to return to your residence and work on the fixture we previously installed. We apologize that you are unhappy with the payment methods. Our office asks customers about the method of payment before we come to a residence so that our technicians are aware of what to expect. We were informed that you wanted to pay by check, which is why we expected a check. We allow our customers to pay by credit card, check or cash, and of course if there are any issues we try our best to accommodate the customer. Regarding your concerns about our business, Mr. Electric of Ventura County is in fact a franchise of Mr. Electric, yet we are locally owned and operated. In respect to Wilde Electric, we were close friends of the owner. Prior to his passing, he entrusted us with his clients as he felt they would be in good hands with us. We were deeply saddened by his passing. At the time of your call, we informed you that we handle calls that come in for Wilde Electric. You seemed to be alright with this and chose to have us come out. We would not have come if you told us that you were uncomfortable with anything. Even though we were not able to come to your residence immediately following your call, we came at the soonest possible opportunity. We did our best to meet your needs and are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied. If there is anything you still do not understand, please call us so we can clarify.

A+ service!
My house is pretty old, so the lighting in the kitchen was those old-school panel lights. I called Mr. Electric and Cliff arrived at my house 2 hours later. I am now the proud owner of can lights in my kitchen, much nicer! He took his time and answered a few questions I had. A+ service

...knowledgeable, efficient and ethical
Cliff was sent to my residence today from Mr. Electric. He was right on time, friendly, and very professional. Cliff diagnosed and resolved my electrical issue quickly. He also did a safety inspection that I appreciated. Cliff was knowledgeable, efficient, and ethical. Thanks Cliff!

I would recommend!
Bobby just left and I am amazed at how easy he made everything, and how reasonably priced it was. I had let a number of items accumulate and he was able to glide through my list without a hitch. I would recommend him without hesitation for any job, big or small.

...Highly recommend!
We called Mr. Electric late this afternoon after there was a power short to our guest bathroom. You never know how bad these things can be when an electrical problem arises, so we wanted someone to come out same day. After looking at Yelp reviews and calling a few companies, Mr. Electric was the only one who was able to help us. We spoke with Brandy who was very helpful, and she said Billy would be out tonight to take care of our problem. Billy arrived before the time promised and after an initial assessment, he gave us a good quote on what he needed to do to find the problem then fix it We were really worried that this could be a big problem, but he assured us he was in no rush and would stay until he had found the problem and hopefully fixed it. He then set to work looking for where the short was, and within about 20 minutes, had located the problem, showed us the issue, and was able to repair it and make our house safe again. Billy was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations about replacing the electric sockets so that the problem wouldn't arise again, but that it could be done at our convenience, and there was no pressure to schedule it with him or his company. We like that! He was very friendly and our kitty liked him, which is a good sign. We will definitely be using Mr. Electric and Billy again in the near future. Highly recommend!
