Our cousin was released from a nursing home rather abruptly and we needed someone to take care of him since we lived 5 hours away I called Rudy, he came to interview our cousin the next day and we had trusted, caring home attendants in the home the following day. Rudy and his staff have provided superb care and have exercised such professionalism in dealing with our family member who can be belligerent and combative due to some dementia. Even though I am a Masters level RN it was difficult watching my cousin deteriorate physically and mentally, however Rudy and his staff were so supportive and provided calm guidance through some difficult times. The agency provides 24 hour daily care, 3 days a week, to supplement an employee caregiver who works the remaining 4 days/nights. Our relative is in Miami with no other family or support and we are happy with her care. When our relative complained about the assigned caregiver the agency was very sensitive to her concerns and made the necessary changes immediately and tactfully. I also appreciate the fact that the agency treats its caregivers as employees, rather than "independent contractors."

I hired Senior Helpers from Minnesota, to take care of a gentleman that I was traveling with. His bucket list vacation included a week stay at the Fountainbleau. I knew dealing with the gentleman's medications and personal needs was going to be tough, and it was. Thank goodness Senior Helpers sent Rolando every morning for two hours to help my obese client shower, dress, toilet and take his multiple meds. Rolando somehow found cheap parking, and promptly arrived at 7 a.m. every day to get my client ready. That way my client was buffed and smelling good to start each day! Rolando had a remarkably upbeat personality despite my very challenging client, and got his mood into shape as well as his person. Rolando recommended some great restaurants, and gave us a bit of insider info to make out trip that much more special. Staff are tailored to fit your needs, Senior Helpers took care of my dad for about 18 months and currently my father and mother in law who live with us. They are truly skilled in caring for the elderly both physically and emotionally. We could not ask for better service. Just as important, when issues come up and they always do, both the on-site staff and senior management have handled everything wonderfully. Management has also been super in assisting with managing insurance which was initially a tremendous burden.
