We use Senior Helpers while traveling on vacation in both Glenview, Illinois and Portland, Oregon. The service is very flexible with the aides coming to our hotel rooms. Even though I am an infrequent customer, management and scheduling have treated me like a regular customer. I strongly recommend the use of Senior Helpers.

When I reflect on my experience with Norm and Senior Helpers, it's difficult to know where to start. Perhaps I'll describe our situation first. My 93 year old grandfather was living in his home, however had been the victim of elder abuse at the hands of his caregivers. His wife of nearly 70 years had passed away and my sister and I are his only living family. But we live on the east coast 3,000 miles away. In October, matters came to a head and we were a family in crisis. That's when we met Norm. The hospital social worker had made several recommendations for in home caregiving agencies, but none would consider the 24/7 care that we were requesting, not on such short notice. None that is except Norm and Senior Helpers. With very little notice and information, Norm met with my sister and I at grandpas house. During an extremely stressful time, Norm was able to create a bond of trust with our grandfather and was hired the same day. During the next two and half months, Norm continued to go above and beyond in his efforts to ensure that grandpa was adjusting to new caregivers and that my sister and I were fully informed. We had weekly phone conferences and frequent emails that helped close the distance. When it finally came time for grandpa to relocate, to a facility that we would not have found if it weren't for Norm, Senior Helpers was there to help make the transition. Even now, grandpa still sees his caregiver three times a week. Our situation was somewhat unique for various reasons, but Norm and Senior Helpers truly helped us to overcome any and all challenges we faced. I have no doubt in my mind that Norm and his staff truly rescued our grandfather and for that we will always be deeply grateful.

I hired Senior Helpers to assist with my mother's care while she recovered from a broken wrist. The Helpers that came into my mother's home were very kind conscientious and wonderful at making sure my mom was cared for. They were helpful in suggesting tips for improving my mother's day to day care and were very good at communicating any concerns they had. If my mother needs in home care in the future I will definitely be contacting Senior Helpers.

Senior Helpers was there when we needed them for my 94 year old mom. The team was professional, thoughtful, very capable and friendly. My mother enjoyed her time with them and grew to consider them her friends. My husband and I were most grateful for this service and recommend them highly!
