Completed a new furnace installation for me while my old carrier system had cracked heat exchanger. We have had Shift Air come in and complete a new water tank and furnace for us. City inspection has passed and we are very happy with sales and service installation. Thanks

We had a great experience just like all of the reviews suggest. We had a new furnace and air conditions system installed. We will have the crew back in the spring to start the system. Brent came to the house completed the heat load and the furnace walk through pointed out a major amount of things that we can and did differently that will get our home comfort to the level it should be. OWNER of SHIFTAIR Mechanical **Brent McQuade*, his office manager *Shauna de Freitas who so falsely made defensive response's to our experience with this company. *SINCE OUR REVIEW, and at the time of writing ** ShifTAir Mechanical** operates without Government of Alberta License for years taken upfront/deposit money.(since this REVIEW Shauna de Freitas wrote in response to ours the company is applying for such now) ~~~~~~ This review is entirely the opinion and experience of writer. At time of writing this review ShiftAir Mechanical is not registered with the Alberta Consumer Government and does *NOT* hold a license for taken deposit, upfront money on any work order. If such has happen the consumer has the right to open a claim with Government of Alberta, Consumer Affairs.. SHIFTAIR Mechanical also gave the most highest in cost for an estimate on DAIKIN furnace and air conditioner, and the company is extreme conditional set. There was one time renegotiation of quote to match others quote and three times e-mail exchange in which clearly the decision was made NOT to do business with ShiftAir Mechanical as it felt close to being blackmailed.~~ *Reply by ShiftAir mechanical: ***We do not take advantage of any of our customers and in no way did you receive anything but honest and professional service. I can appreciate your frustration when receiving information that does not provide you exactly what you want however that is not a reflection on the service of Shift Air but rather a unique situation.I (Shauna de Freitas) ** before we proceed any further I did want to make you aware of this in the event you would like to pursue one of the other quotes you received and understand and respect your decision not to work with Shift Air however please know that we were happy to install the requested equipment in the original quote.........******. Who wants to do business with such company. ~~ Bottom line ShiftAir Mechanical does ask upfront for money and that's by LAW illegal for them to do as they have no license for such and therefore they are liable to have license provoked or get heavy fined by Government. If anyone paid upfront to ShiftAir Mechanical Ltd. up front or ask to do so you have the RIGHT filing a complain with the CONSUMER Affairs Dept by Alberta Government. They will handle it for you. SHIFTAIR Mechanical is only authorized to work in Calgary, *not* out of Calgary such as Okotoks, Airdrie or the likes. Not licensed to do that. Our experience with ShiftAir Mechanical Ltd. started out as good as such dealing could go but very soon the company showed its true face and entangled itself with dishonesty. Their defense always is *UNLESS* you buy this and that in combination with this or that we must charge higher. So, basically it is blackmailing to get what THEY want a consumer to buy unlike other company's. In Trusting the Process we found a terrific company paid fair price and got that which is needed in this house for comfort. Not oversold unlike by ShiftAir Mechanical. This is our experience. We were expecting a very defensive response from ShiftAir Mechanical and that they done. We only expressed the experience with ShiftAir Mechanical.. So, stay tuned ..we will add the outcome. We do not need to defend ourselves however the company may be taken liable for making false statement out in the open and file another complaint with License department. It does speak as REFERENCE of this company.

We had a carrier 10 year old furnace have a cracked heat exchanger. We decided after looking at all options. To change out the furnace we hired shift air mechanical as a t was the best option and the best price. Brent even did a follow up review with us. We are so happy to have them to the wor and all systems have passed and we are so happy with the long warranty and work that’s as given.

We bought a new furnace from shift air. We are really happy with the Daikin furnace and live the fact that it has a 12 year warranty. We will be calling back in the spring to be getting the Ac unit installed in the spring. Thanks Shift Air

Called Shift air as they were recommended by a close personal friend. They have used Shift air for many years and several projects. Brent came to the house and went through a few Different brands and they we weighted the pros and cons of both. I have decided to use the Daikin equipment. So far the unit is working correctly and the city came by today and passed the job. Warranty was completed and installation done on time and on budget. We highly recommend Shift Air. Thanks.
