Not as expected
I had high expectations for this company because of their good reviews. The person scheduling the appointment was very nice and easy to communicate with. However, I had asked for the “almond color” caulk around the bathtub and the handyman had only white available. He also said that he would charge me for the time spent in going and buying that caulk. That was unfair since I called him back the night before to specify that, but I was not able to reach him. I was disappointed about that. However, the work itself was not bad.

Correction to last review
When I reviewed a few days ago I was not aware of the entire scope of the job. Thanks to communication fro main office I have an entirely different feeling!
This is a great company and they do exceptional work and I highly recommend Ace Hardware Hanyman Services.
Sometimes when you jump the gun and give a negative review you will very soon regret what you said, that is why I am writing this rebuttal to my previous review.

Your "Go To" Company
Right from the start Ace Handyman Services/ Southfield was very professional. They dealt with every question I had. They never put me off.
The craftsman, Stephan, was prompt every day he worked for us. He told me everything he was doing.
Paul, the manager, knew all the steps involved with this project, even the problems that came up. He dealt with them efficiently.
I have to commend Paul's secretary, Cindy. She put up with all the hassles I gave her as well as the lumber companies' shenanigans.
A Remarkable Company to know about. Have them on speed dial.
I liked the idea of having a "honey do" list when you call them.
