While in the middle of on a kitchen renovation a leaking pipe was discovered with damage to the dry wall and base of wall (a 2 x 4 ) All I requested was the replacement of the damaged area and dry wall to be fixed and only floated (No sanding or finishing work) the job was about a 3-4 hour job that was being requested. But the tech, whom responded for the work said and I quote: : "They Handyman Matters: only allowed him a one hour window Instead of waiting to see the job in person that was called in . This cost me more time and much more money. The repair I also explained needed to be done with in the next 48 hours do to contractors schedule. This was made perfectly clear from the beginning. These folks are not worth my second phone call. I am sorry for the negative review but a fact is a fact. David Lake Highlands, Dallas, Texas

Timing to book and schedule an appointment is quick...no need to wait months for a contractor or specialist. Would highly recommend! I have more jobs in mind and look forward to scheduling additional "to do's" around the house.

Our first time using Handyman Matters but not our last. We tried them based on Angie's List recommendations when we got fed up with our former handyman never being on time or returning our calls. We were able to make an appointment online at a time convenient for us, and Randall showed up on time, was very professional and friendly, and did a terrific job. Thanks!

We just needed some grout repaired in the kitchen and guest bath and cutters cleaned. I texted pictures 2 days prior to the coordinator so matching chalking could be purchased prior to arriving, this was not done. The handyman did not receive the pictures to purchase the caulk in advance. The kitchen grout looks fine, however the bathroom caulk does not match at all and is not an even line. He ran out of time to thoroughly clean the gutters. For $90/hr I expected a higher quality job. I will not be hiring from this company again.

The front door was sticking so bad that we hadn't been able to use it for a couple of days, so Handyman Matters got the call. Chris was here right on time, listened to our story, and reviewed the situation with the door. We are just starting to plan foundation work and were really trying to not replace the door and frame at this time. Chris provided a good fix and now we can use the door and know that it will lock securely and have some time before replacing it. As with all of the work done by Handyman Matters, I know the door will stay fixed! Every time I've used Handyman Matters, it has been a great experience.

I would definitely use this service again. After making the appointment, I received a call one day ahead of time from the actual individual that would be at my house the following day. The following day he arrived on time and finished the job early. He then offered to do additional small jobs since I had paid for one hour of service and the actual task took only half an hour. I will be calling them again.
