Very happy with Handyman Matters - will definitely hire again.
I just had a small deck/stairs replaced at my condo. The quality of the workmanship was top notch and I would definitely recommend their services. Staff was very professional and courteous. They always arrived on time and called ahead to let me know they were on their way. Last but not least, the total invoice amount came in on the low end of the estimated range that was given so definitely rates 5 stars!

Excellent service and quality work
Mark of Handyman Matters did some repair work to my house and was quick, thorough, and did excellent repair work. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again on other home projects.

Quality work and very professional
I had exterior trim boards replaced on our porch due to dry rot. Jim, our craftsman, was on time and explained each step of the work. The quality is first rate and completed in a very timely manner. I would gladly recommend Jim and Handyman Matters.

I have had this company come out for various reasons approx 4 times now. I have been happy with each visit. Honest and trustworthy. They don’t do more than what isn’t necessary and they don’t seem to gouge in pricing. I would not keep calling them if I was t happy or at the least I would let them know if I was dissatisfied with the service and give another chance. Bob,I believe that was his name was the last one to come out and I found him most helpful and knowledgeable.

Great job
I found Handyman Matters to be very professional. They did what they said they would do, on time, and communicated every step of the way. I just moved to the area and had a lot of various people to work on the house and they were by far my best experience. I will definitely use them for future projects.

Completely unprofessional
We were booked to have our house power washed and porch steps replaced. Our technician showed up without a power washer or ladder. He then quoted 3 times the amount of labor hours for the steps and said he couldn’t start the step on the day we scheduled because he didn’t have the equipment and was going on vacation and wouldn’t be back for 2 weeks.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we are sorry this customer didn’t have a good experience. Communication is something we take great pride in, but for some reason it was a miss for this appointment. Our craftsman was reserved for 4 hours and showed up ready to work. We only reserve time with a skilled craftsman, we never quote projects on the phone as there are too many unknown factors in our business. The disconnect here seems to be “replacing steps”. Our office took that as a repair job replacing boards on steps, and thus set it up as a same day service project as opposed to an estimate for a larger project. When our craftsman arrived on site, the customer wanted him to build a 6 by 8 deck landing with several steps from a Pinterest picture. Obviously, this is more than a few hours work, not a simple deck steps repair. Additionally, the project was minutes from our office so our craftsman first went to see the job before loading up pressure washing equipment in case he needed any of the specialty adaptions. Finally, there was nothing about vacation. It was explained to the customer that he was booked for 2 weeks on other projects and to do this larger project we would have to schedule him after those other projects were completed.

I was very happy with your Repair Tech, Jim. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We had a leak along a sliding glass door and he implemented a plan to solve the problem. I was quite happy with the professionalism of the company as well. They were great about letting you know when he was about to arrive. Thank you.
