James from Handyman Matters is a genius. He thoroughly understands what all the pieces and parts of a house should do, and how they can be fixed. He is extremely patient and answers all of my “what’s this?” and “why does this do this?” questions. Sometimes the answers may not be what you want to hear because it will cost money to be fixed correctly, but I’d prefer to pay someone from Handyman Matters because they know what they are doing. Today I learned they also change out door locks, hardware and install Ring doorbells! Awesome. It’s so easy to only call one business, that actually answers their phone and can schedule you during your initial call! Thank you Handyman Matters for being such a professional and reliable company.

Great service and very helpful and friendly

This is my third time using this company and I highly recommend them. They are pleasant to deal with and customer satisfaction is important to them.

James installed the kick plate in February and I noticed a problem with it last week. The correction was made at no charge to me - great way to stand behind your work.

James arrived promptly per the arrangements I made through Rachel at his office. 1. James identified the outside light problem and did his best to fix it. He was not able to replace the very old worn out socket after going to the hardware store in search of a new socket. Before leaving, he located a close-by electrical company and confirmed that it could fix my light. He removed the light from my house and helped me get it into the car. James did all that he could to solve the problem. 2. While at the hardware store, James secured a new fuse box for me and used the door on on the new box to replace a rusty door which was aesthetically not pleasing. James was friendly and courteous. I will call on him again.

Clint arrived on time; adjusted the project parameters for some additional thoughts we had, and completed the work efficently. As always, we trust Handyma Matters to complete every project at a reasonable cost and with top quality workmanship.

James was knowledgeable and professional as he repaired my wood gate, fence and flag pole stand. He even completed these issues in the rain. Would highly recommend this company for your honey do list. Very good value!

This is the 3rd time we have used this firm and we have never been disappointed. Our most recent job involved a series of punch-list type maintenance items that had accumulated over time and were beyond our DIY skills. As usual, excellent pre-appointment communication, on time arrival, and skilled and competent work. Will use again when need arises, and we do not hesitate to recommend.
