Kam showed up on time, was friendly, knowledgeable and produced good quality work. My issue with the job today is less specific to the work being done as it is about the approach from a business perspective. I understood that the call would involve a service charge plus the estimated hourly rate (minimum 2 hours). Of the two jobs I indicated on the initial call that the gutter repair would require a tall ladder (3 story equivalent) and that the wood pecker hole in the side of the house just needed to be patched with sheet metal. I had attempted the repair myself without sheet metal but the bird ate through it. it took a little less than 30ish minutes to complete. Kam did survey the job before he started and after 2 hours he let me know that he couldn't get the gutter job done due to the latter being to short and unsafe to angle from a different approach. I understand safety concerns and wouldn't want him or anyone doing it unsafely, but I did point out a tall ladder was needed and I was told the company had them. It would have been helpful to have pointed out prior to starting that the gutter repair couldn't be done. If that had been the case I would just paid the service call fee and thanked Kam for coming out to survey. The woodpecker hole repair (again, having done it myself even with the wrong materials) I don't believe should have taken two hours to complete and wouldn't have paid the 2 hour minimum just for that.

Perfect in all Ways, More than I expected. Had 3 Doors that did not Close Right. From the Start everything Great, They answered the Phone, Gave me a Time I wanted, Showed up on time, Went over the Job, Did the Job Efficiently. Its Fixed and Works.

Kam was great. A very detailed person when it comes to his work.. I'm glad he was assigned the work. The area was very clean after he had completed his work. A very pleasant person to spend a couple of hours with. Called to let me know he was running a little late and called to let me know he was on his way.

Darrell arrived right on time. He was very efficient. Our needs were for increased safety at home as we are age 85 & 79. In our bathroom, Darrell installed an additional grab bar in our tile shower, a grab bar beside the toilet & repaired a door hinged. Then he installed two handrails. A second one upstairs & replaced an old wobbly one downstairs. He was a delight to have working in our home. We are thrilled with his work & plan to have him back for other handyman jobs.

The contractor arrived an hour and a half late and did not contact us to let us know that he was going to be late. We asked him to install an owl decoy ( to scare off woodpeckers) as well as repair damage done by woodpeckers on our chimney. The engagement was for 4 hours. We fully expected that the job would not take the full amount of time and he would be able to take care of some other work. That was not the case.

David did a great job at troubleshooting and fixing some vexing problems in siding and a door frame in my very old house. I appreciated his skill, knowledge, cheerfulness, and his willingness to answer my abundant questions about how walls are best put together while he was here. I’ll be calling back next time I’m ready to fix another quirk in my old house.

Darrell was the handyman assigned to the lowering of my countertop. He knew what he was doing and did it with high quality. His work required carpentry and drywall skills. Darrell is a true asset to Handyman Matters

Our Handyman Matters technician was Matthew. He was VERY professional, VERY knowledgeable, and VERY willing to explain what he was doing and why. We would definitely request him for future handyman projects.

Our handyman technician for the day was Matthew. My wife and I (50 years of marriage) have had many past experiences with repair and maintenance individuals but the service and professionalism that Matthew provided was absolutely the best. First class!
